The science of the good life, huh? Sorry this is not about booze, sex and rock n'roll (or whatever is en vogue right now). In fact we talk about a lot of things that tree huggers would love: appreciation of beauty, gratitude, positive emotions, relationships and well, love. However we, that is positive psychologists and positive psychology practitioners buried ourselves in books, set out to experiment and then write it all up in a writing style that is about as exciting to read as watching an avocado turn brown. And that's the problem: if you are not an academic you probably want a little bit more excitement, than pages and pages of densely written journals can provide. Even if you are an academic, who has time to read all the interesting stuff out there anyways? So in an effort to save your eyes taking on a comically rectangular shape the positive psychology podcast brings the science of the good life to your earbuds. It's not all treehugger style though; sometimes we might get quite serious, for example when exploring things like post-traumatic growth or positive parenting. Subscribe if you want to benefit from the scientific insights into happiness and meaning while you are on the go. Let me know where you are while you are listening to this. If you like it review it, because that's the only way other people can find it too.

If you’re a farmer, you know the joy of working the land: the cadence of the seasons, the understanding of the natural world, the tangible results of your hard work. But you probably also know how stressful it can be. From family and finance pressures, to isolation and an exhausting job that has no days off. In fact, agricultural workers experience suicide rates 50% higher than the national average, and that number is rising. On Cultivating Resilience from Cultivemos (FRSAN-NE), farm care starts with self-care. We’ll hear from real, independent farmers on the struggles they face every day, and how they are overcoming them. We’ll provide resources to strengthen your mental health and survive uncertain times. And we’re building a community where farmers and ranchers can support each other, because even the hardiest plants need the right conditions to grow. Together we’ll discuss the specific stresses that farmers face—things like family farm succession, economic burdens, and rural isolation. Follow the show wherever you get your podcasts, so you never miss an episode. And please, share the show with someone you think it may help.

The Wu Wei Wisdom Podcast is a weekly conversation about life challenges and life lessons, emotional and spiritual health issues, and tools to help you live in effortless flow - ‘wu wei’.

The ancient Taoist principle of wu wei is little understood in the West, and we believe it’s the secret to health and happiness in modern life!

Your hosts are David James Lees, an ordained Taoist monk, emotional and spiritual health teacher and consultant, and Alexandra Lees, a mindset and business coach.

If you are suffering from emotional pain, stress or depression; struggling with self-criticism or self-doubt; seeking a more satisfying life balance, relationships or career; or searching for a deeper sense of meaning and fulfilment in your life - you are not alone.

We want to help you better understand yourself, regain control of your mind, body, and emotions, and inspire you to reconnect with your true self and purpose.

Each episode blends spiritual and philosophical ideas and insight with our real-life professional experience supporting clients worldwide.

This podcast is dedicated to helping neurodivergent women change what they think is "wrong with them" into their superpower. Amanda struggled with her neurodivergence for years without even knowing that it was neurodivergence. Maybe you can relate? Thanks to not understanding her unique brain and her unique needs, Amanda spent decades dealing with the emotional fallout of not knowing how to address her highly sensitive nervous system. This meant a long journey of mental health struggles, meds that didn't work and therapy that seemingly made her feel worse, not better. Until she found coaching, which changed everything. Now Amanda teaches neurodivergent women how to approach their unique brains in a way that creates trust, understanding, and real results. If you are craving a new experience with yourself and want to feel like you truly belong to yourself and to the world, this podcast is for you. Let's get started.
