The Fit Parent Project was created specifically to focus on the idea of parents getting the self-care they deserve through health and fitness sustainably so they can live the life they want not the life they’re settling for.Getting in shape is a challenge in and of itself. Let alone trying to get in shape during the highs, the lows, and the chaos of parenthood. Especially when between the guilt and the stress alone that kids just feel like they add a whole other dimension to even the simplest of tasks. Sometimes it feels impossible when all you hear is “we all have the same 24hrs in the day” when our 24 hours looks so much different than those without kids. It can be done though, is it harder? Absolutely. Is it worth it? Absolutely. And as parents, we often put ourselves on the backburner because we feel like that makes us better parents to the alternative. When in reality, the truth is, that self-care isn’t selfish. I’ve helped hundreds of parents get away from the unsustainable fad diet and exercise culture and create customized plans that are maintainable long-term and in this podcast, I’d like to share some of my best tips, tricks, and information that you can apply to your own journey and life! Each podcast episode is filled with action steps and mindset shifts dedicated to the idea that parenthood doesn’t have to be martyrdom and that we need to fill our own cups to be the best parents we can be.Stop saying you can’t and start listening to how you CAN by listening to The Fit Parent Project.

Welcome to Musclebound MamaMy name is Sophie and I am the founder of Musclebound Mama.Musclebound Mama is very much a labour of love for me. Once upon a time I was an insecure, overweight mama with no self-esteem and poor self-worth who was desperate for change. I’d tried every fad-diet in the industry and failed every time. I was defeated. It all started with a Twitter account where I called myself @muscleboundmama and immersed myself in the industry of fat loss and wellness as a consumer and learned first hand what worked and what didn’t. Over several years of trial, error, tragedy and finally, healing, and education – I succeeded. I found my inner power and I developed a program to help you find yours, too. By building a combination of tools, resources and an unwavering system of support and compassion, I’ve helped thousands of women discover their inner Musclebound Mama and change their relationship with food – for life.

Highlighting the personal victories of those who have adopted a healthy, sustainable lifestyle by learning the scientifically proven strategies of FASTer Way to Fat Loss. Hear stories of struggle and success from those who ditched the diets of deprivation and endless exercise to embrace a "healthstyle" built upon proven scientific principles. Learn to exercise efficiently and feed your body the nutrition it needs to sculpt the look you want. To get started, download your free sample meal plan and start eating real food! This is a podcast that will educate and inspire you to write your own Fat Loss Success Story!
I'm your host, Veronica Hugger, who at the age of 53 was ready to give up. I was living an unsustainable lifestyle of deprivation diets and endless exercise and not seeing the results I wanted or deserved. The strategy of "eat less" move more" was not working! By learning the FASTer Way of nutrition and fitness, I now live a 'healthstyle' which encourages me to eat right and motivates me to exercise efficiently. I eat more food now than ever! My FASTer Way coach continues to work with me so I have access to a personal trainer who manages my progress, answers my questions, and inspires me.
I was persuaded to try the FASTer Way after listening to stories from others who continue to succeed on the program. Over 440,000 people have gone through the FASTer Way starter program, so there are lots of success stories! On this podcast, you’ll hear conversational interviews with people with various relatable stories of struggle and success. And FASTer Way to Fat Loss Head Trainer, Le Bergin, helps explain the strategies of the program and offer helpful tips.
Just like someone else’s success story inspired me, sharing more success stories has the potential to encourage others to embrace and experience a healthier lifestyle...a “healthstyle”. And their shared stories will educate you, inspire you, and encourage you to accomplish your goals and to write your own Fat Loss Success Story!
If you're on the FASTer Way and ready to share your story, contact me to be on the show!
