Helping modern moms achieve balance - in motherhood, career, wellness and life - from the inside out, through mindfulness, simple self-care habits, integrative nutrition and holistic health & wellness. Do you feel like you’re constantly drained trying to figure out how to balance it all - pursuing your career or running a business while juggling your kids schedules and still finding time to prioritize your well-being? Do you wish you could stay consistent with eating healthy, self-care habits and achieving your wellness goals? Do you want to have more fun, build healthier habits, and make more aligned choices, so you can feel less stressed, more rested and more present everyday? I hear you mama. Mommy's on a Call is a podcast dedicated to educating, empowering and inspiring YOU, the modern mom, to get the most out of your life - yourself, your family, your work, and your relationships - with more intention, more laughter and more self-care every single unpredictable day. Through real and honest conversations with working moms (mom entrepreneurs, mom founders, CEO moms, career moms), subject matter experts, solo episodes, and more, the podcast goes behind-the-scenes to uncover the daily rituals, life lessons, real-life tactics and favorite tools to help you thrive in wellness and motherhood. My mission is to bring you the top working parent experts in multi-dimensional wellness, holistic, integrative and alternative health, career and entrepreneurship, mindful parenting, mindfulness, relationships, personal finance, spirituality and more. I’m Stephanie Uchima-Carney, a serial entrepreneur, MBA & business strategist, certified Integrative Nutrition health coach, and “xennial” mom of 3 little ones. I left a corporate career to follow my intuition and embark on a mission to help other working moms, mom entrepreneurs and moms in transition succeed and flourish in their new season of life: motherhood. Along my journey of self-discovery, I uncovered a passion for multi-dimensional wellness, Ayurveda, meditation, breathwork, mindful parenting and entrepreneurship. Through this podcast I hope to share my experiences, insights and knowledge with you, so that you can discover what fires you up inside! So grab your headphones, tell your kids you’re on the potty, and tune in weekly for some laughs, knowledge bombs and plenty of real talk with real moms (and maybe a dad or two). Come join me in my sandbox of life and in this podcast to explore, play and discover something new every single week. And make sure to subscribe and tune in weekly because I know you've yelled "Mommy's on a Call" at least once in the last week!!! ----- 👩🏻‍💻 WEBSITE: https://www.stephanieuchima.com ✨ CONNECT ON SOCIAL (IG/FB/Twitter): @StephanieUchima & @MommysonaCall ☕️ COMMUNITY: The Modern Mama Society - Health & Wellness for Modern Moms - https://www.facebook.com/groups/modernbusinessmama 🔥 WORK WITH ME: https://www.stephanieuchima.com/services

Mommying While Muslim is a one of a kind podcast where two American born and bred Muslim moms share their experiences to raise second generation kids. Having experienced both pre and post 9/11 America, they're acutely aware of the unique challenges their families face on top of the regular messes that all moms share. Mommying While Muslim is a space to take back their stories, and tell those no one will air on the news or portray fully or fairly in the media. Zaiba Hasan and Uzma Jafri are moms first, careerwomen second, and global citizens at heart. They meet taboo topics head on because they weren't allowed to do it growing up, not at home or at school and work. They aim to better their immediate households, communities, and their momsisterhood the world over by telling the truths sometimes people don't want to face or to hear. Not everyone has the privileges they have and they are eager to learn, more than they are to share their own experiences. Always looking to give back, they find women and families who need a mic because no one needs a voice; they just need an opportunity to speak. Besides tough social issues, they also tackle political ones because when laws affect their kids, they're coming for them as well as the ones who make them! There's no lane that doesn't get taken here. Along the way, they recruit momallies for Muslim Americans who have been inordinately targeted for the last 20 years. True moms know that ALL our children deserve to be safe, loved, and happy, and we bust every yellow brick on the Islamaphobic road to make sure they all are. If you like good trouble, this one's for you!

The Fit Parent Project was created specifically to focus on the idea of parents getting the self-care they deserve through health and fitness sustainably so they can live the life they want not the life they’re settling for.Getting in shape is a challenge in and of itself. Let alone trying to get in shape during the highs, the lows, and the chaos of parenthood. Especially when between the guilt and the stress alone that kids just feel like they add a whole other dimension to even the simplest of tasks. Sometimes it feels impossible when all you hear is “we all have the same 24hrs in the day” when our 24 hours looks so much different than those without kids. It can be done though, is it harder? Absolutely. Is it worth it? Absolutely. And as parents, we often put ourselves on the backburner because we feel like that makes us better parents to the alternative. When in reality, the truth is, that self-care isn’t selfish. I’ve helped hundreds of parents get away from the unsustainable fad diet and exercise culture and create customized plans that are maintainable long-term and in this podcast, I’d like to share some of my best tips, tricks, and information that you can apply to your own journey and life! Each podcast episode is filled with action steps and mindset shifts dedicated to the idea that parenthood doesn’t have to be martyrdom and that we need to fill our own cups to be the best parents we can be.Stop saying you can’t and start listening to how you CAN by listening to The Fit Parent Project.

We are on our way to becoming financially independent. Follow our Journey! As a first generation American couple born from Mexican parents, we believe we have tons of things we need to be grateful for. One of those things is the fact we live in the USA, with unlimited opportunity for growth. Both Lorenzo and I have a professional background as diverse as the places where we grew up. We want to share our experiences to anyone who is thinking of doing something more but find themselves finding ‘reasons’ on why they can’t. Also, the biggest WHY for this podcast is to leave a video and podcast trail for our children and our children’s children. We want them to hear our lessons and mindset in hopes that one day they may benefit by them. We also want to share with them our friends, other family members, and associates who have given value to our lives. If these videos and podcasts give value to others, that’s an added bonus. Thank YOU for your listen/watch.

A show dedicated to all the Mums, Mamas, MammerJammers, Mama Llamas and Mamasaurus Rexes out there. Ashley Adamson and Lisa McCaffrey reunite to celebrate motherhood on a second season of Your MomTM. Enjoy their unfiltered conversations with moms of world class athletes and high achievers as they share personal stories of parenthood that feel both familiar and extraordinary. In season one we realized how meaningful it was for moms to simply have the space to share and reflect upon their own life stories. So this year we will also explore the broader notion of the power of storytelling in our lives. To help us, we’ve added two new regular contributors, Chantal Below and Betsy Bloom, who we consider experts in this field. Thank you so much for your support. Productivity, Parenting, and Education for Moms with Adult ADHD Are you overwhelmed by the never-ending to do list of motherhood? Are you burnt out and barely keeping your head above water? Are you confused and frustrated by how all the other moms make it look so easy? And somehow you're still floundering despite trying even harder... Your purse is as overflowing as your mind, you never feel like a good enough mom, and you don't dare have anyone over to visit to witness your messy home. You just want the best for your kids, but you can't figure out how to manage the chaos, both in your mind and in your house. Oh, I've been there, mama. Some days, I'm still there. Parenting with ADHD is hard! We want to be structured for our kids, yet we can't seem to stay consistent even for ourselves. But I'm letting go of everyone else's perception of a "good mom" and stepping into loving who I am a little more each day. Will you join me? Whether you have ADHD like I do, or think you might, here is your permission slip to let go of the pinterest worthy visions of organization and structure fit for everyone else. Let's do life like our brains do life: creatively, lovingly, and with all your might. Moms with ADHD have a superpower of always trying their best, even when it doesn't pan out. How do I know? I have known about my ADD for over twenty years, and I want to share all of this hard-earned ADHD knowledge with you, making your adjustment a lot easier and faster than mine was. What does Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder look like in women? We'll dive into emotional regulation, motivation, executive function, hormones, medication, and natural treatments. Women with ADHD share their diagnosis stories with us, whether inattentive, hyperactive or combined, from childhood through adult diagnoses. We also talk about ADHD's so-called friends like depression, anxiety, addiction, disordered eating, other learning differences, and what I've learned through therapy and CBT. Science is my jam and learning about how our brains work through the lens of scientific research helps us understand who we are. ADHD is not just for little boys; it looks different in girls. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurological medical condition, not an excuse for lazy, stupid, unmotivated people to not live up to our potential. Let's agree to throw that thought in the trash. Once we understand how our brains work, we can dive into the practical strategies like structuring our day, minimalism, money, nurturing our relationships, daily rhythms, using a planner, and improving our sleep. I want to help you build your version of a joyful family life. We talk about everything from ADHD to Zebras, because that is how Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder works: to us, our thoughts are clearly connected, but non-linear to everyone else. I want you to love being a zebra in a world full of horses. We were born as unique, gorgeous creatures, not meant to blend in with the usual nor mundane. When we embrace who we are and how our brains work, we can figure out how to live out lives successfully and in turn, lead our families well. At the end of the day, we just want to be good moms. Spoiler alert: you are already a great mom. If you're ready to see that with your own two eyes, hit play and listen in as we love ourselves a little more each day of our ADHD lives. ADHD does NOT mean you're doomed to be a hot mess, mama! You CAN rewrite your story from shame spiral to success story, and I'll be right here beside you to cheer you on!
