Hvert afsnit vil have sit eget fokus.

About the podcast...
Hi! We’re Jenn, Ellen, and Annette — three friends who grew up together, moved across the globe, and discovered our ADHD as adults. The road to diagnosis was long, and we mostly coped through creativity. Now, we’re out to help others and keep improving ourselves by sharing how ADHD impacted our lives. We’ll delve into science and discuss personal hypotheses, tell hilariously awkward stories, and answer questions from listeners. We hope you’ll find a sense of community and support as we fall up the stairs of life, laughing all the way.
About the word...
Basiltov began as an inside joke born from a night of adult beverages. Jenn made a joke about Ellen’s basil plant, then randomly shouted BASILTOV when Annette won a drinking game. We’ve shouted it at each other ever since, either as a greeting or as congratulations, and now we’re using it as a podcast title, which is spectacularly ADHD if you ask us. Check out basiltov.com for more about us and our favorite topic – ADHD.

We all get a bit distracted don't we? Well, maybe some more than others, particularly if you've got that thing called ADHD. Seems like a lot of people have got that thing called ADHD nowadays. But what even is it?
Hosted by friends Jack and Kat, who discovered they had ADHD in their late twenties. Every episode delves into a new topic. The following week we will feature and interview someone that actually knows what they're talking about, in-fact, they'll be leading experts in their field.
So join us, as we learn more about what makes us so distracted.

Why is there a boom in 30+ year old women going for ADHD assessments? Is it just a trend? Or is it that we really are the missed generation and more importantly, the missed gender.
In this podcast, I'll be addressing why ADHD is not "just for boys" - how females often present so differently to males. I'll be talking about how ADHD presents in girls in the classroom, all the way up to how it has presented for me in motherhood, marriage and the mayhem it can cause in every day life.
I'll be joined by other neurodivergent ladies where we openly discuss our traits, coping mechanisms and how a diagnosis has brought validation to our chaotic lives. We will hopefully all have a giggle along the way while advocating that it really is ok to want to go for a late diagnosis - while showing you how to be unapologetically ADHD.

Heather Tingle has been a member of The Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers since 2016. She and her family have had hoarding tendencies, living in messy homes, stuck in that never ending, exhausting cycle of chores and tidying. She now supports clients in person and online to achieve the same outcome in their own homes - and now you can learn how she does it through this podcast too!

Welcome to a safe space to talk about mental health and neurodivergence with someone who understands. I personally have bipolar disorder, ADHD and anxiety and suspect I have autism as well. I am a single mom to a teenage daughter who has AuDHD and anxiety. I strive to open up the discussion on these topics and erase the stigma that surrounds them. I also hope to let others know that there is always hope and they are not alone. Hope you enjoy!

Are you a late-diagnosis autistic woman, and self-employed or a professional? I bet your most used phrase is "Oh, so that's why!" isn't it?
At least, that's what mine was when I was diagnosed at 46. It suddenly made everything make sense, like why I was so often passed over for promotion, or why I couldn't hold down a particular type of job, or why I was just so bloody tired by people ALL of the time.
If this sounds like you, and you want to listen to stories of autism in the workplace, learn strategies for living in a world that isn't designed for neurodivergents, and hear from guests that I'll be talking to occasionally, then you're in the right place.
I'm Paula Jones, a psychologist, life coach and hypnotherapist, and I've been spending my life on a quest to find out why I'm different. I've got all the tools to help you, and me, to get through this thing together.
