Erin Royer Presents Minding The Gap - #2: Harnessing the Power of Transformation - 3D vs. 5D
play

09/28/22 • 21 min

Any intentional change, any connection to the self, your own needs, wants and desires that you want to actualize, is positive. But there are two paths to creating this change, through a more traditional (3D) physical dimensional reality or through manifesting energetically, (5D). But regardless, the holdups are often the very same. Our thoughts, habits and belief systems get in our own way. This is the work that needs to be done or should I say undone? In this episode I cover the basics and differences of creating change and transformation through both a 3D and 5D perspectives so for anyone not familiar with the difference, when I reference these terms in future episodes, everyone will have an understanding. The truth is, even if you don't know it, you are probably using both already anyway!

Erin Royer Presents Minding The Gap - #4: The Secret Guidance Everyone Has But Most Everyone Ignores
play

10/05/22 • 30 min

Did you know your emotions are your guidance system out of a life that is no longer serving you to a life of joy and expansion? Most of us are taught to ignore our emotions starting in early childhood. We learned our feelings make others uncomfortable and so we were taught to use coping mechanisms that are unhealthy (addictions, food, work, exercise, refocus, you name it.) In this episode I go through the vibrational scale of emotions and some foundational tips for how to start to open up to our feelings so we can heal and begin to use them for their intended purpose, to guide.

Obstacles feel like the legos we step on that jolt us from a tranquil walk to bed. They seem to be nothing but creators of stress and killers of joy. But obstacles do have a purpose in our lives. It's the way we deal with them that creates stress, and sucks the joy. In this episode I cover 4 reasons why we create unnecessary obstacles and often get hung up on them far longer than we need to and how to prevent the unnecessary ones and overcome them quicker and easier when they do arise.

From a biological perspective, the emotion of fear was designed to get us out of a dangerous situation fast. But in the modern world, many humans are living in an almost constant state of fear or acute stress response and it's killing us. Why is this happening and what can we do about it? From a spiritual perspective fear is one of the biggest resistors to creating a life of joy, abundance and love. It keeps us trapped in our current life more than any other emotion. In this episode, I cover the all the important information about our fear response and how to start to get a hold on your own fear so you can take full control of your life and where you are heading.

There are narratives we pick up as we go through life, from family, community, our society and the world at large. These narratives are often formed from others experiences and shared with the best of intentions. Other times they are narratives that have settled into the collective as unconscious thought patterns meant to control behavior and handed down with little to no inquisition. Either way, these narratives, more times than not, hold us back from a life of joy and fulfillment. Learn about how to recognize your own stories and the some of the reasons you may be allowing them to hold you back.

Erin Royer Presents Minding The Gap - #8: The Walls We Build - Dismantling Defense Mechanisms Part I
play

11/02/22 • 27 min

Defense mechanisms are protections we build to avoid painful feelings such as shame, regret, rejection, inadequacy, insecurity, overwhelm and more. They can emerge beginning in early childhood out of self-preservation and even survival. In this two part episode I dig into the 10 most common defense mechanisms, common reasons or events that can invoke them and some beginning steps to begin to recognize, confront and dismantle them as much as possible. While defense mechanisms can be helpful and even necessary in certain situations, as we create a life that is fulfilling and joyous and we feel safer to start showing up more authentically, they become less useful at best and harmful at worst.
