Obstacles feel like the legos we step on that jolt us from a tranquil walk to bed. They seem to be nothing but creators of stress and killers of joy. But obstacles do have a purpose in our lives. It's the way we deal with them that creates stress, and sucks the joy. In this episode I cover 4 reasons why we create unnecessary obstacles and often get hung up on them far longer than we need to and how to prevent the unnecessary ones and overcome them quicker and easier when they do arise.

Did you know your emotions are your guidance system out of a life that is no longer serving you to a life of joy and expansion? Most of us are taught to ignore our emotions starting in early childhood. We learned our feelings make others uncomfortable and so we were taught to use coping mechanisms that are unhealthy (addictions, food, work, exercise, refocus, you name it.) In this episode I go through the vibrational scale of emotions and some foundational tips for how to start to open up to our feelings so we can heal and begin to use them for their intended purpose, to guide.
