We’re at our most vulnerable when we go to our doctors. But what happens when we can’t trust them? Dr. Death is the award-winning series hosted by Laura Beil, now in its fourth season. Dr. Death | S4: Bad Magic

When a charismatic young doctor announces revolutionary treatments for cancer and HIV, patients from around the world turn to him for their last chance. As medical experts praise Serhat Gumrukcu’s genius, the company he co-founded rockets in value to over half a billion dollars. But when a team of researchers makes a startling discovery, they begin to suspect the brilliant doctor is hiding a secret. From Wondery, the new season of Dr. Death: Bad Magic is a story of miraculous cures, magic and murder. New episodes each week starting 1/22. You can binge the entire series early and ad-free right now on Wondery+ Dr. Death | S3: Miracle Man

Paolo is a smart and handsome surgeon, renowned for his ability to perform surgeries that transform his patients’ lives. When television producer Benita covers him for a story, he’ll transform her life too, but not in the ways she expects. As Benita crosses professional lines to be with him, she learns how far Paolo will go to protect his secrets. And halfway around the world, four doctors at a prestigious medical institute make shocking discoveries of their own that call everything into question. From Wondery comes Season Three of the hit podcast, Dr. Death. MIRACLE MAN tells the story of a globe-trotting surgeon who seduces the medical world, and sweeps one woman off her feet. You can binge the series ad-free on Wondery+.Dr. Death | S2: Dr. Fata

If someone you love is diagnosed with cancer you want them to get the best treatment from the best doctors. In 2013, patients in Michigan thought Farid Fata was that doctor. Between his prestigious education, years of experience and pleasant bedside manner, Fata was everything you could want in a doctor. But he was not who he appeared to be. From Wondery, this is the story of hundreds of patients in Michigan, a doctor, and a poisonous secret. You can binge the series ad-free on Wondery+. Dr. Death | S1: Dr. Duntsch

We’re at our most vulnerable when we go to our doctors. We trust the person at the other end of that scalpel. We trust the hospital. We trust the system. Christopher Duntsch was a neurosurgeon who radiated confidence. He claimed he was the best in Dallas. If you had back pain, and had tried everything else, Dr. Duntsch could give you the spine surgery that would take your pain away. But soon his patients started to experience complications, and the system failed to protect them. Which begs the question: who - or what - is that system meant to protect? From Wondery, the network behind the hit podcast Dirty John, Dr. Death is a story about a charming surgeon, 33 patients and a spineless system. You can binge the series ad-free on Wondery+.

Hi, I'm Jeffrey and I am a Feldenkrais Method and Kinēsa practitioner. Feldenkrais and Kinesa are somatic practices that focus primarily on helping people become aware of the invisible, habitual choices they make. What we don't know we're doing is where the gold is. Through experimentation, you can find new and better choices. We use movement as the primary vehicle for exploration. But why movement? People are numb and disconnected from their bodies. Movement is connected with and influences thinking and emotional patterns. The ability to move well deeply affects the quality of a person's life. Learning through somatic movement processes is fun, mind-expanding, and always a new adventure.

See more at kinkyintroverts.com. RULE NUMBER ONE: You must be at least 18 years old to listen to this content! This podcast aims to bridge the gap between people who live the BDSM lifestyle within the community and those who prefer to kink it at home. Brian and Kitten have both been in the lifestyle with and apart from their local communities. By coming together and joining their family units, leaving the house has become less of an option. Still wanting that community feel, they hit the airwaves and hope to put out good information, learn from others, and play on air as they continue their lifestyle journey together. Brian and Kitten are switches, sadists, masochists, and edge players (knives and blood make them horny), and have an Owner/pet dynamic. Brian is mellow but evil and Kitten is feisty with a hell of a bite! The goal is to share weekly content so that listeners can live vicariously through them so we can all grow together. Philosophy and philosophical enquiries are relevant in some shape or form to many aspects of everyday life, for example our treatment of the environment, the rapidity of today's technological progress, whether animals should have rights and if so how they should compare to ours. Philosophy also encompasses questions about the existence of God, how life is sustained on earth, and even at what point should the Government intrude on a person's freedom. This album introduces the study of philosophy and the human situation, and contains talks and debates from leading philosophical thinkers and teachers, past and present. This material forms part of The Open University course A211 Philosophy and the human situation.

Welcome to Fix My Pain Naturally Podcast where Dr. Heather discusses some of the most common aliments we as athletes & non-athletes face and how to achieve optimal performance by learning how to fix your pain naturally. Dr. Heather is a neuromusculoskeletal practitioner specializing in proper spinal/articular alignment, muscle imbalances and soft tissue injuries. As a Doctor of Chiropractic with over 20 plus years of experience, Heather has concentrated on athletic training/ sports medicine. Licensed in Connecticut, Heather has measurably expanded her family-oriented practice, and become an even more active consultant and speaker in the Tri-State area over the last several years in addition to her continuing local volunteer work with schools and nonprofits. Thanks to the rise of the Pandemic, Dr. Heather has also been able to provide continuous care for many patients via her online platform. Dr. Heather constructed a 3 week Sports Chiropractic Program which has been able to help thousands of people globally in becoming pain free. By using various digital platforms patients are able to use her treatment protocols which are customized to each individual.A note from Dr. Heather:I was in eighth grade. It was during one of my softball games. I will ever forget that day because of the intense pain I left with from the field. Radiating pain down both my legs. I could barely walk. I thought I would never play again the pain was so bad. I didn't want to go to the hospital. I didn't want to have to take drugs or medications for the rest of my life. I wanted someone to help me. I wanted the help fast. Then something happened that would change everything...My mom brought me to see the chiropractor she had been going to. This was my very first experience with a chiropractor. I mean I had watched my mom get treated several times but never once was I the patient until now. He explained to me that he incorporated Kinesiology into his diagnostic skills to help him figure out what muscles and nerves were being the most affected. It was the way he explained the body. The muscles. The nerves. How it was all connected. I was amazed. Now I'm a sports chiropractor helping people feel better and returning them to activity without hesitation or fear that their injury will come back. Having that experience at such an early age had a profound effect on me. It made me take my passion for art, sport and science and bring them together. I wanted to do what he did for me, for others.I'm doing this because I am passionate about helping people. I am a firm believer that our bodies can heal themselves. Now don't get me wrong there is a time and place for traditional medicine, science and intervention. But a majority of our pain symptoms can be fixed naturally. If we can understand how our bodies work, the physiology and then we can begin to understand how to heal our bodies.

Striving to Thriving is your resource for those things related to the biological, psychological and social (biopsychosocial) aspects and challenges of chronic pain. My name is David Hall and I am a certified health and wellness coach, and a Chronic Pain Support Group Facilitator, certified by the U.S. Pain Foundation. I worked in the microelectronics and biomedical device manufacturing industries for over 30 years. In 2007, I sustained an injury to my spine in a bad rollover accident, ultimately requiring the implant of a spinal cord stimulator to manage my pain. Three years ago, because of a surgery that didn’t go as planned, I contracted one of the most painful chronic conditions, CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), also known as the suicide disease. Despite these challenges, with the help and education I received from my pain specialist, I made the arduous journey from Striving to Thriving despite my challenges with chronic pain. I have devoted my life to continuing her work, helping those struggling in chronic pain.My podcasts will address a myriad of topics related to chronic pain, neuroscience, wellness, lifestyle adaptation, neurology and psychology of pain, various forms of therapy, and more. I will also host special guests from time to time who provide solutions, treatments, technologies and legislation regarding treatment and care of people afflicted with chronic pain. Many people struggle in life due to false ideas about God, one another and the church. The truth of the nature of God, who we are and what our role in the world is, has been preserved in the life and teachings of the Orthodox Church. Unfortunately, due false ideologies and miscommunications about the nature of these subject matters, many struggle with coming to a knowledge of the truth. These ideas cause many to reject God and live in pain. Our hosts will discuss varying subject matters about the nature of God in hope to reintroduce God, man and Christianity from an Orthodox Christian perspective.

Pain is a common complaint in the primary care setting, and the standard of practice is to assess for the cause of the pain. Patients often present with painful symptoms of unknown etiology that cannot be defined by the degree of inflammation or damage to muscle tissue. Fibromyalgia affects an estimated 10 million people in the United States and is especially common in women. Many patients have additional symptoms including fatigue, headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, cognitive problems/memory lapses, sleep disturbances, anxiety, and depression. A recent CME Outfitters survey found that 62.8% of respondents were not confident or only somewhat confident in their ability to diagnose and manage fibromyalgia. In this neuroscienceCME Clinical Chart Review, the faculty will take participants through a patient case to demonstrate the complexities of appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and management of fibromyalgia, and provide insights and strategies for improving patient care and long-term outcomes.

Update*Dearly Deep is the new name for my previously named Dearly Deep Heart Id Podcast. I have changed and shortened the name to support the rebrand of this podcast being less about me and my story and more about life and other peoples love stories. Dearly Deep will focus more on the lives and love stories of people I come I contact with and people who want to share their stories. Hold the Throne is the rap, hip hop, pop culture side of things...My YouTube show Hold The Throne captures artists speaking about the love they have for music, why they create, why they quit, why they would never quit, and what drives them even when they have minimal to no success. So I’m bringing that to this podcast as well and we can discuss what’s going on in the world of creativity on and off the screen. Please enjoy, rate, review and subscribe. Tell your friends and family especially if you know someone who would like to be a guest!! Welcome to the Pain Rebel Podcast by Straight Shot Health! This is the podcast for those frustrated with the current "pain management" system and are struggling to find the path to create a new, better, future for their clients or themselves. Hosted by Dr. Kevin Cuccaro, a fellowship trained pain specialist and pain educator, each episode provides straightforward information on how to understand and apply the science of pain for safe and effective pain care. From calling out low value and harmful therapies to challenging common, but false, beliefs about pain, Dr. Cuccaro cuts through misinformation and misconceptions so clinicians can help their clients get better rather than settle for managing misery.
