Like all good modern relationships, they met on Instagram and instantly bonded over the fact that they were both sleep-deprived Dads doing their best to dote over their two children. They share a very laid-back style to parenting, they don't pretend to be experts and they celebrate every single parenting mishap (which there are plenty). Matt's currently enjoying potty training a 2 year old (Lola) who insists on doing everything solo - including attempting to empty a potty by herself that's full to the brim with her business. Ash takes the family on a holiday to Queensland, which includes lugging 8 bags, cot and baby seat across the boarder, getting two flat tyres and being on the receiving end of a foul-mouthed spray from his 3 year old. Matt also has an incident with a post-sex towel thanks to his mother.

Ash has just uncovered his wife's devious lunch prep behaviour - hiding mint slices in Oscar's daycare lunches. Matt experiences the full roller coaster of parenting as a joyous day at the park with the kids and his dog descends into chaos when a blue heeler goes rogue (no dogs were harmed in the making of this podcast). Now that Oscar has a raging sugar addiction, he takes down Ash's whole Quake Shake at the supermarket but overdoses and vomits the whole thing back up in aisle 4.
