About Amelia~
"Feeling good about meals and food has gotten surprisingly hard for many families! As a pediatric dietitian, I've counseled thousands of parents on tough-to-solve eating issues, including balancing weight (both gaining and losing), increasing fruits and vegetables, and simply developing a healthy, balanced attitude towards eating and food. To get the best results for families, I rely on evidence-based approaches to feeding. I have a master's degree in public health nutrition (MPH), am a registered dietitian (RD), certified dietitian nutritionist (CDN), and certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). I'm excited to share my experience with the Find Calm Here Community."

Ross Taylor is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and helps professionals improve their visual communication skillset. He’s also an avid hiker who I met several years ago through a mentorship program with the National Press Photographers Association when I was a full-time reporter and photojournalist. Over the years, I’ve followed his career, taking him from Virginia to Colorado while he also takes hiking to a new level.
He says: “I’ve found that while I love this type of work, hiking and the outdoors helps me find calm in many aspects of my life. I find it most when above treeline, around 13,000-14,000′ of elevation. However, just being outside on any hike helps clear my mind and calm my day.”
