Do you ever feel the pressure to announce your big life changes? In today’s episode, I’m diving into silent sobriety and silent activism—why sometimes the most powerful transformation happens when we keep it just for ourselves.
There’s so much talk about “recovering out loud,” and while that can be empowering, there’s also deep value in solitude and private commitment. When I quit drinking, I didn’t make a big deal about it. I was just making choices for me. And that shifted everything.
I also share a personal story about how Matthew proposed to me (spoiler: it was magical and completely unexpected) and how my deep connection to the Divine has shaped the way I experience life. Some things I just don’t feel the need to share—because they’re mine.
This episode will challenge you to look at your relationship with external validation and ask: What would change if you didn’t need anyone else’s approval?
Key Takeaways:
- Silence is powerful. Before seeking validation, take time to understand your why.
- Solitude and loneliness are not the same thing. How can you embrace time alone?
- Instead of figuring things out, try finding out—get curious and trust the process.
- Expect that there will be moments when old habits or thoughts resurface. It’s normal.
- Big life shifts don’t always need to be announced. Sometimes they’re more potent when they’re just yours.

Today, we’re diving into what it really means to surrender and trust your next evolution. Whether it's shifting your relationship with alcohol, your career, or any part of your life, the key isn’t figuring it out—it’s finding out by loosening your grip and stepping into curiosity.
I share personal updates on balancing my online work with the new life my family and I are building on our farm. I also reflect on how resistance shows up when we’re being called to something new and how sometimes, we need to let go of “the way things have always been” to allow something even better to emerge.
With the arrival of Lent, Venus retrograde, and the shift into spring, this is an invitation to pause, empty out, and make space for what’s truly calling you.
Key Takeaways:
🌿 Your next evolution is already calling—you just have to listen.
🌿 FOMO isn’t real when you’ve already experienced something. What if you stopped holding on so tightly?
🌿 Loosening your grip doesn’t mean failure. It means creating space for clarity and divine timing.
🌿 Personal transformation isn’t about “figuring it out” but rather allowing it to unfold.
🌿 This season is about deepening your devotion—to yourself, to what’s right in front of you, and to the unknown possibilities ahead.
Want to step into your own awakening? Try 40 days of releasing control—whether it’s alcohol, caffeine, social media, or the need to have all the answers. See what happens when you stop forcing and start receiving.
I’d love to hear what’s calling you right now! Send me a DM on Instagram or email me. And don’t forget—leave a review on Apple Podcasts, screenshot it, and send it my way for a free gift to support your journey.
Let’s loosen our grip and step into the Feminine Way together.

Feminine Sobriety Part 1 Finding Safety Within
🔗 Try Magic Mind with 20% off: magicmind.com/maryW20
Last week, we talked about silent sobriety—not as a way to hide, but as a practice of deepening your relationship with yourself. This week, we’re taking that a step further and exploring how to create safety from within—because the first principle of the feminine way is knowing that true safety isn’t something we find outside of ourselves.
We’ve been so conditioned to push, prove, and hustle that we’ve lost touch with the pleasure of receiving—whether it’s in our businesses, our relationships, or even in motherhood. But the feminine doesn’t operate on force; she flows, she softens, she trusts.
In this episode, I share how shifting the financial dynamic in my marriage completely changed the energy in our home, allowing both Matthew and me to step more fully into our natural strengths. I also talk about how I’ve been reworking my relationship with coffee (yes, again!) and why loosening the grip—whether on money, alcohol, or expectations—is where real expansion begins.
Key Takeaways:
🌿 You don’t have to “figure it out.” You can just find out.
🌿 Resistance is a sign of growth—on the other side of it is expansion.
🌿 True giving is free of expectation. If it’s not, it’s not really giving.
🌿 Creating safety in your life starts with assessing your actual resources and challenging scarcity thinking.
🌿 When you soften and trust, you allow more pleasure, ease, and abundance to come in.
I’d love to hear what’s resonating for you—where in your life do you need to create more safety and ease? Send me a DM on Instagram and let’s chat!
