We all have an inner truth that every so often nudges us into directions, whether we are aware of it or not. We may find, however, that we do not necessarily listen to or follow those inner nudgings, but as we dive into today’s episode, we see how powerful it can be to trust the flow of life and see where it takes you.

In today’s episode, we welcome Kute Blackson — a transformational teacher, speaker, visionary, and best-selling author of You Are The One and The Magic of Surrender. Utterly unique in the world of human potential and unlike those who promise to simply help people ‘get’ what they want, Kute's life work, instead, reveals to people what they have to give by liberating who they are most truly and deeply.

Join Michelle and Kute as they dive deeply into the transformative power of surrender and explore the dynamics of true inner freedom. You’ll learn to attune to the subtle guidance of your soul, let go of the need to control every outcome, and finally trust yourself to follow the inner nudges of your true self.

Be prepared to leave this episode feeling connected and inspired to truly be free. Here’s to the magic of our collective sacred surrender!

Key Points From This Episode:

  • Kute shares a bit of his backstory and how he became a spiritual teacher
  • The transformative magic of surrender and why it’s the passport to freedom
  • Insights on distinguishing ego-driven decisions from soul-guided choices
  • Gain access to how to clear past conditioning and follow your heart
  • Practical steps on how to start listening to your inner truth

Back for the second time is, Danielle LaPorte for one of the deepest + dopest conversations I’ve ever had on the pod. Danielle is an author, speaker, podcaster and a member of Oprah’s SuperSoul 100, a group who, in Oprah’s words, “is uniquely connecting the world together with a spiritual energy that matters.”

In this dose #203, Danielle and I chat about her recent engagement to her Mr. (literally happened 4 days ago), being the light amidst the chaos, cultivating vision and the capacity to create, her dark night of the soul + ego death that led to an authentic awakening (and mine, too), the gift of radiance through suffering (is it really suffering after all?), how to create and work with a heart centered altar, and surrendering to the idea that love is all there is. Even now, especially now.

This one feels like the soul balm for humanity. Let's journey.

Danielle LaPorte is the creator of the Heart Centered Membership and the Heart Centered Leadership Program with 400+ leaders in 30 countries hosting conversation circles, retreats, and workshops in all kinds of communities and businesses. She’s a member of Oprah’s SuperSoul 100 and the former director of a future studies think tank in Washington, DC, where she managed a team creating global scenario plans. She now speaks about the intelligence of the heart.

This most recent book, How To Be Loving...when your heart is breaking open and the world is waking up, is also an Audiobook + ebook, with a companion Journal. Danielle is also the author of The Fire Starter Sessions, White Hot Truth, and The Desire Map, and producer of dozens of meditation kits and online programs for spiritual support.

Her podcast, With Love, Danielle, often ranks in iTunes’ top 10 for wellness. Most of her offerings—from the Heart Centered Membership to classes—are on a pay what you choose basis. Named one of the Top 100 Websites for Women by Forbes, millions of people a month visit DanielleLaPorte.com.

What an absolute honor to welcome Mama Gena to Fire and Soul and wow, did we go there. And THERE. This one is a blast – extremely vulnerable, raw, liberating, fun and just plain inspiring as we awaken more fully into who we really are.

“As women, we have so much self criticism that takes the place of our ownership of our feminine majesty and miraculousness.” – Mama Gena

Regena Thomashauer (the one and only “Mama Gena”) is a feminist icon, teacher and best-selling author, mother and media personality, and founder and CEO of the School of Womanly Arts, which began in her living room in 1998 and has since grown into a global movement.

She believes that women are the greatest untapped natural resource on the planet, and that as people of all genders reclaim the magnificence of the feminine, the patriarchy will fall, liberating us all.

Mama Gena’s approach stems from decades of research in the social, cultural, and economic history of women. Her distinctive style — at once irreverent, unwavering, affirming, and swear-y — has engaged thousands from all over the world.

In addition to leading the School of Womanly Arts, Mama Gena has authored four popular books, including her newest New York Times Bestseller, Pussy: A Reclamation, and has been featured widely as a leading expert in modern feminism. She lives and works in New York City.

Topics we get into...

  • Why, oh why, should we use the word “pussy”? And why is it that so many women don’t want to?
  • The 5 Stages of Pussy
  • One thing you can do right now to tap you into your erotic aliveness
  • Rupture “If you are in a place of rupture, heartbreak or devastation, it is the seed of your next becoming”
  • Why one of the really toxic pervasive beliefs in our society about erotic pleasure and aliveness only for people of a certain age or body type – is plain wrong.
  • The transforming power of the heart and whore in sacred union
  • What is swamping and what it has to do with owning our absolute truth

When given the opportunity, humans can so beautifully connect with animals on a very powerful, spiritual level, and these animals oftentimes save human lives. Though I have spent very limited time with horses throughout my life, each experience has taught me great, beautiful lessons that I will never forget.

However, the reality is that 60,000 horses are unethically sold into slaughter each year for human consumption. This reality is what drives Rebekah Keat to save as many horses as possible and giving them a new purpose for their lives.

Rebekah Keat and her wife Siri Lindley founded the Believe Ranch & Rescue, where they’ve dedicated themselves to saving horses from slaughter, finding them ever-loving homes. Rebekah is also a two-time Junior World Champion, three-time national champion, six-time iron distance champion, and co-founder of Team Sirius Tri Club. Above all that, she is a hero who has saved 116 horses from abuse, neglect and gives them the second chance that they so deserve.

Throughout our conversation, Rebekah shares her experience driving forward the SAFE Act to end the slaughter of horses in the United States, what obstacles she’s overcome so far, and what it will take for this Act to pass. We also talk about how Rebekah met Siri and what sparked their beautiful relationship, and what it was like to be present as Siri’s wife while she underwent Leukemia.

Some Questions I Ask:

  • How does it feel to reflect on the impacts you’ve made in the world? (2:58)
  • How have you pivoted your business from survival mode to thriving mode in 2020? (6:51)
  • How did you and your wife meet? (9:35)
  • What is the SAFE Act? (16:55)
  • What have you learned through the experience of being Siri’s wife as she went through leukemia? (25:19)
  • What is your definition of an awakened soul? (33:04)

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery affected Rebekah Keat’s business. (6:19)
  • How Rebekah started her journey of saving animals, including 116 horses. (14:25)
  • What obstacles are in the way of passing the SAFE Act. (20:05)
  • How to support the SAFE Act. (21:31)
  • How Tony Robbins helped Rebekah learn to become more present in her life and with her wife. (32:02)

Here's to reaching my 100th episode of Fire and Soul!

It’s been quite a journey...

Those of you who have been listening a while will remember that podcasting wasn’t a dream I ever had. When I was younger, I dreamed of being an actress or TV Host. And I finally got the chance to live that dream in my mid 30s for a decade, but the dream ultimately changed when I attended my first Date with Destiny seminar with Tony Robbins in 2017. I woke up to knowing I was made for more... something deep in my soul felt called to serve, contribute and make a positive difference in this world. But I had no idea where or how to begin. That's when a friend encouraged me to start a podcast and six months later, this show came to life.

With an insatiable curiosity about all things mindset and success, I started having conversations with friends, mentors, thinkers, geniuses, and inspirational people from all over the globe. I interviewed them about the routines, mindsets, habits, principles, and actions that have led them to fulfilling lives, and I’ve learned something powerful from each and every one of them.

When I look back at my early episodes, I cringe a little — but no one starts with mastery. I’ve learned a lot since those first few episodes — about podcasting and about life — and the journey has been its own reward every step of the way. This special 100th episode is a testament to the last two and a half years of learning and growth, commitment and courage. I’m excited to be looking back on some of the highlights from the last two years of making The Fire and Soul Podcast and reflecting on the many lessons I’ve learned on this incredible journey.

Why You Should Listen to this Special 100th Episode Right Now...

The last two and a half years of podcasting have been extraordinary, but the interview clips I share today are definitely highlights. My mind was blown by the insight and wisdom of each of these remarkable people. In this 100th episode, I’m highlighting moments from seven guests who made a profound impact on my life. I’ll share how they each inspired me to open my mind and heart, face my fears, step into inspired action, and how they each helped me create a more epically aligned life.

If you’re ready to achieve mastery at starting a relationship with Jairek Robbins, master femininity with Alison Armstrong, master a money mindset with Scott Harris, overcome your limiting beliefs with Jack Canfield, learn how to have a life changing miracle with the co-founder of Rythmia Dr. Jeff McNairy, how to build on the two indicators of 'awakening' with Panache Desai, and learn how to be intentional about race with my dear friend Daniel Gibson, then join me on Episode 100!

Here's to Fire and Soul!

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • What Fire & Soul means (2:03)
  • How my podcast journey began (4:55)
  • Jairek Robbins’ method to starting a successful relationship (8:17)
  • Alison Armstrong’s quick fix for creating a sense of femininity (17:07)
  • Scott Harris unpacks the "feather, brick, truck" analogy to illustrate how the universe communicates with us (25:52)
  • How Jack Canfield’s experience with the plant medicine Ayahuasca inspired me and many others to try it at Rythmia (34:07)
  • Dr. Jeff McNairy explains Rythmia and why 94% of guests report experiencing a life changing miracle (38:06)
  • Panache Desai’s guideposts around how to know when you’ve reached enlightenment (45:11)
  • Why Daniel Gibson is embracing his Black heritage more than ever (53:59)

Are you playing small or playing full out?

I’m so excited to share today’s pod with you! Today I talk with Raj Jana, an impressive entrepreneur at just 29 years old with the wisdom of a sage man – he’s a gem of a human being. In just one year, he grew JavaPresse Coffee Company into a 7-figure brand, while working a full-time job, and making a long-distance relationship thrive.

Like many of us throughout 2020 so far, Raj seized the opportunity to just slow down and self-reflect. He’s deeply transformed in these last few months, and throughout our conversation today he talks all about that. We talk about relationships, heartbreak, boundaries, and what it means to fall in love with life.

The path of living an extraordinary life might not always be easy, but it is so worth it.

Some Questions I Ask:

  • How are you doing during this pandemic? (9:15)
  • What does it look like to do your inner work? (10:48)
  • How has the pandemic weighed on you? (21:01)
  • What does a conversation around upholding boundaries actually look like? (31:29)
  • How would you define an awakened, aligned soul? (48:01)

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How Raj has transformed his life over the last several months. (9:21)
  • How Raj balanced out his masculine and feminine energies through opening himself up to receiving love. (11:00)
  • How Raj learned to self-source love and what he wants for his life. (17:20)
  • What a boundary is and how Raj practices setting and honoring boundaries. (30:58)
  • Raj’s top core values. (35:44)
  • How to live in a way that lets life pleasantly surprise you and fall in love with it. (43:14)

Here's to weekends completely unplugging and soaking up the sunshine!

If there's anything I've learned as an entrepreneur, it's that taking time off fuels my productivity and feeds my soul. Speaking of business...

One of the reasons I was able to grow my coaching and training business in the middle of a pandemic, and start a second 6-figure business is because I decided where to place my attention.

When lockdown hit, most people were glued to the news and letting all that negativity into their minds, but I turned it off completely, and decided to focus on what I could control.

Instead of feeding the fear, I took immediate action and made a few key decisions that shaped my reality so I could get after my mission.

I share what that exact action was in today's fiery podcast.

You'll be inspired by this!

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How I filtered the media I consumed in lockdown. (5:19)
  • How I took immediate action to pivot my business. (7:51)
  • How hiring an executive assistant completely changed my business for the better. (10:23)
  • Why your consciousness is more important than your curriculum. (12:59)
  • Why truly feeling and experiencing your gratitude is a game-changer. (17:11)
  • How deciding, investing, and committing to growth rewires your brain to find new solutions. (20:27)

I’ve been saving this special pod for over six weeks, and am so excited I finally get to share it with you today!

If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you know that Ginni Media and I have poured our heart and soul into our program The Podcast Accelerator.

Even if you’ve never considered starting a podcast of your own, if there’s anything I’ve learned in my ten years of being on TV, seems everyone loves to get a glimpse behind the scenes.

And that’s exactly where we’re headed in this week’s episode.

I’m taking you behind the scenes to share what it’s really like to be part of the program, from the lens of our graduates.

We came together the day after they launched their podcast into the world to celebrate their outstanding achievement!

We get an inside look into the excitement of a launching a podcast, and the personal transformation that decision sparked for each person.

You’re going to hear each one of them share raw, genuine, and honest impressions of their experience.

They dive deep into how they overcame their deepest fears in order to follow their dreams to touch lives with their one-of-a-kind platform.

You’ll laugh, possibly cry (I sure did), and no doubt cheer them on from the sidelines.

I’m deeply proud of each and every single one of them and know you’ll feel the same.

It’s been an epic adventure and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them as they continue to share their voice with the world.

Here’s to being seen and heard!

In this episode, you’ll hear the amazing experiences of these beautiful souls:

  • Adam Kruger - Enhanced Living (04:02)
