Sword and Scale is a true crime podcast covering the dark underworld of crime and the criminal justice system’s response to it. The first episode launched January 1st, 2014 and feature stories of murder, abduction, rape, and even more bizarre forms of crime. It’s the purest form of true-crime where the raw uncensored audio tells the story. Everything from 911 calls to court testimony, interviews with victims and sometimes with perpetrators give listeners a 360 degree look at the seedy underbelly of human nature and so-called civilized society. Told from an everyman's point of view, Sword and Scale goes beyond the news clips and the sensationalist headlines to hold up a mirror to the audience and ask, "Is it us versus them? Or are we just like 'them' too?" Sword and scale proves that the worst monsters are real.

Most people don’t know that you’re considered a cancer survivor at the moment of diagnosis. It wasn’t always this way. Sixty years ago, a cancer diagnosis was a death sentence. And if you did survive, you were left to figure out the rest of your life on your own.

But some survivors demanded something different, something better.

This is The Cancer Mavericks, a deep-dive narrative into the people who fought for better treatment, forced doctors to listen, and pushed America to see the human side of the disease.

Episodes of this series will publish monthly through the end of December 2021 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the National Cancer Act of 1971.

History might be written by the winners, but in presidential politics the story is often shaped by the Long Shots. Journalist Conor Powell profiles eight presidential candidates who lost the race for the White House but dramatically changed America’s political landscape - right up to today.

Long Shots is the story of America’s presidential battles – the contentious contest for the most powerful office in the world - and how knowing where we've been can help us choose a better tomorrow.

With the help of top journalist and campaign heavyweights - NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Molly Jong-Fast, Larry King, Carl Cameron, Bay Buchanan, and James Zogby - you will learn how these political outsiders reshaped American political culture, like the affable but divisive Pat Buchanan, who laid the foundation for much of today’s divisive conservative discourse, and Jesse Jackson, who literally changed the face of the Democratic Party.

William Veres is in trouble. In 2018 he was arrested following the largest ever investigation by the Italian police’s art squad. They accuse him of running a pan-European art-smuggling ring with ties to the Sicilian mafia. He is alleged to have stolen $40 million worth of art and antiquities from Italy. Charged with 14 counts, including money laundering, forgery, wire fraud and conspiracy, he faces a jail term of up to 20 years.

But he has a plan to get out of trouble. In this four-part podcast, host Simon Willis follows him as he puts that plan into action. It’s a story that takes listeners deep into the underworld, and into the dark heart of the most famous criminal organization of them all – Cosa Nostra.

It is a story of drug dealers, hitmen, smugglers, spies – even a corrupt prime minister. And in the middle of it all is William Veres’s quest to save himself. How? By solving the coldest cold case in the history of art crime – the theft of Caravaggio’s Nativity.

The Professor is a series for Hidden Worlds, the home of unbelievable true stories and gripping investigations into shadowy places.

This eight episode series is built on interviews with people who were close to him—people who played in his bands, managed his career, engineered his music, or dated him. We explore his multiple personalities, his love of basketball, his insane work ethic, his ability to play almost every instrument, his love of clothes, his turbulent childhood where he left his parents, his romantic life, his baby who died after a few days, and his tragic end. We hear stories about Prince and Liz Taylor, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, and many more. This is a deep look inside the life of an unforgettable man.

True Crime with a twist. By and from those that have been there. Crime stories from those that investigated crimes and caught criminals. Also victims of crimes tell about their experience. Plus trauma stories, by those that have been through it. Often crime based, but not always, people talk about the trauma, how it impacted them and how they built their lives after. Law Enforcement Talk: True Crime and Trauma Stories Radio Show and

It is a True Crime Show, a Law Enforcement Officer Show and a Human Interest show all in one. Get a glimpse of life behind the badge, investigations of true crimes, violence they encounter and experience. Law enforcement officers, first responders, military veterans, victims of crime and their families tell their stories of the trauma they experienced mostly regarding True Crime incidents. They also talk about how they built their new lives they wanted afterwards. While many people think the show is about Law Enforcement Training, or Law Enforcement specific topis, it is not, think of True Crime Podcasts with a twist.

The Law Enforcement Talk Show goes to radio first. Therefore it is required that I use a clock for the length of segments. You've probably seen on television news interviews that they have a hard break. It's the same with radio. The stations have to be able to program in their commercials, news, weather, traffic reports etc. These are called avails, they are NOT Optional. Every guest knows about and is informed of the length of the segments and that I will interrupt them if needed to go to the break. The interviews are recorded and the guests know that the segments must be in a certain length and it is required and they get to tell their stories to millions of people for free.

The bi-weekly podcast version of the syndicated Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show, with numerous affiliate US Radio Stations, broadcasting once a week to millions of people.

The show host, John "Jay" Wiley, is a radio DJ and Retired Baltimore Police Sergeant. The show started as a podcast, before being recruited by terrestrial AM-FM radio stations and has been in continuous operation since March of 2017. You can reach him at [email protected].

-Crime/Mysteries/Paranormal/History-
- A podcast that dives deep into the unsolved and interesting, with an unpolished and unscripted “pirate radio” style. If you like a conversational style podcast about mysterious stuff, you'll love this!!
From 'PODCAST MAGAZINE' : Host Justin Rimmel does a solid job of making listeners feel like we are in the room with him while he shares particularly weird cases he comes across. If old-fashioned true-crime stories are your thing, you will certainly find them on Mysterious Circumstances, too. Justin also does a good job of being a bit skeptical when covering cases. While he doesn’t discount anything paranormal from the start, he does bring in reason and common sense. Whether you are looking for something a little different from the typical true-crime podcasts, or a little scarier, give Mysterious Circumstances a listen.

Environmental and social issues can feel confusing and overwhelming, especially when we try to tackle solutions on our own. That’s why it’s important to collaborate with other optimistic activists on sustainable strategies. When we join the movement together and break down complex practices, we can make profound changes. By focusing on collective movements over the long-term, our social impact makes our communities better. And eventually, our work becomes a beacon of hope for the entire world.

Welcome to Care More Be Better. This show amplifies voices and solutions to regenerate our planet and social systems. Each week, we invite you on a journey to work through the climate crisis and create an environmentally sound future for all. Move from interest to action and turn your curiosity about regenerative living into actions that are part of the solution.

Listen to stories from inspired individuals, ecologically responsible entrepreneurs, and conscious companies. These global agents create positive impacts around the globe. From pay-it-forward marketers to not-for-profits and community change makers, the stories get you thinking about how to secure the future for the human race. Become part of the regeneration by expanding your knowledge of agriculture, social systems, and the economy.

Tune in to understand the most important issues and aspects of the present time. Hear experiences from the front lines of social policies and political struggles. Feel enlightened by conversations about health, wellness, and mindfulness. Discover valuable entrepreneurship and business strategies. Hone your communication and leadership skills. This is your tool in building a better tomorrow, free of corporate influence. This podcast is the passion project and brainchild of Corinna Bellizzi, a cause-marketer and activist who seeks to live well by doing good.

A natural products industry executive, Corinna helped develop and grow several responsible brands. As the sales, marketing and education leader at Nordic Naturals, she unseated Carlson Labs and captured 40% market share. She led the establishment of the industry-leading algae omega-3 company orlonutrition.com. Plus, she reinvigorated legacy brands, SuperNutrition and Twinlab Corporation and founded Draco Natural Products’ international sales division. With these incredible achievements, Corinna currently focuses her efforts on regenerative solutions for global social and environmental problems, even creating carbon-negative nutrition solutions through her work with Orlo Nutrition.

Corinna’s colorful career and exceptional experiences fill this show with life-changing conversations. Beyond elevating business ventures and earning massive profits, she exemplifies how to deliver genuine value, achieve bigger things, and pursue significant change.

This podcast encourages listeners to become something more amid the challenges of today’s fast-paced and complicated world. By looking inward, you can impact people and the entire planet. True change starts with you and now you have a place to start. Inspired by Paul Hawken’s aspirational book Regeneration - Ending The Climate Crisis In One Generation, this show aims to create a realistic roadmap to a hopeful future. As the acclaimed author puts it: “global warming is not a science problem. It’s a human problem.” We are interconnected and it’s time to take meaningful steps, together.

It’s game on for humankind! Care More Be Better invites you to vote with your dollars, find your passion, take action for the planet, and inspire others to join you. One meaningful conversation at a time, we're building a brighter future where everyone feels joyous and loved, true equality becomes the norm, and communities around the globe regenerate our planet.

Innocent until proven guilty or no smoke without fire? Which one accurately describes your perception of the UK Criminal Justice system? What does; “beyond reasonable doubt” mean? Can you ever be sure? In this series, I talk to people who were victims of high profile miscarriage of justice cases including; Michael O'Brien (one of the Cardiff Newsagent Three), John Actie wrongly charged with the murder of Lynette White and remanded for nearly two years until his trial, victims of the Post Office Scandal. I talk to family members including; Barry George's sister, Michelle and I am joined by others who have fought and continue to fight for justice including; investigative journalist Don Hale OBE and MOJO (the charity founded by Paddy Hill). Sadly, miscarriages of justice have happened and continue to happen here in the UK and the reality is that one day this could happen to you or someone you love. Some people may find the content of this series very upsetting and some episodes contain strong language and details regarding violence and sexual assaults. About the host: Maxine Twynam I am a practicing criminal defence solicitor. I have predominantly worked for small niche criminal defence firms representing people accused of a range of crimes from driving offences, shoplifting to sexual offences, serious violence and murder.
