Does a closed case always mean the case is solved? For the death of Norman Ladner many do not believe this case is solved even though it was ruled a suicide very quickly. Norman was a typical country boy that loved hunting and exploring his parents land. Evidence from by the parents points to anything but suicide so why wasn't this case looked at deeper? Bobby, Sherilynn, and six year old Madyson disappeared on October 8th, 2009 and there was no sign of them until over four years later. Their remains were found about three miles from where their vehicle was left in a straight line facedown. As much as we have grown to love our original name and our journey to get here, our evolution from that first glass of wine between friends to meeting with family members, survivors, and fellow case advocates has forever changed our stance.

Malakia Logan was just a normal eight year old girl playing outside on a warm May evening when in a blink of an eye she vanished. The case seemed to be heading in the right direction within that vital first 48, but things slowed quickly after that. It took two years to find remains that pointed in the direction of this little girl that had overcome so much. It took another eight years to positively confirm it was her. It has been 24 years of dead end leads and nothingness for the Logan family. What happened to Malakia in Greenwood, South Carolina all those years ago. On February 27th, 1995 the bodies of Cheryl Feeney, and her two young children Tyler, age six, and Jennifer, one and a half would be found. They were brutally murdered in their home while Jon Feeney, Cheryl's husband was 90 miles away at a work conference. With a staged crime scene that made it look like a gang-related home invasion, Jon's lack of an alibi, and the extramarital affairs Jon had, he would be the only person to ever be named a suspect. This case took so many turns but is still unsolved.
