How do war stories work? And what do they do to us? Join University of St Andrews historian Alice König and colleagues as they explore how war and peace get presented in art, text, film and music. With the help of expert guests, they unpick conflict stories from all sorts of different periods and places. And they ask how the tales we tell and the pictures we paint of peace and war influence us as individuals and shape the societies we live in.

The “How Can I Say This...” podcast offers tips and advice for interpersonal communications challenges, such as difficult conversations, conflict, giving and receiving feedback, negotiating, and other situations where what you say and how you say it makes all the difference.
Your host is Beth Buelow, PCC, founder of ZOPA Consulting and author of “The Introvert Entrepreneur: Amplify Your Strengths and Create Success on Your Own Terms.” Beth’s credentialed professional coach and trained mediator. She loves finding the “Zone of Possible Agreement” (ZOPA!) in any situation that comes her way. She hosted The Introvert Entrepreneur Podcast from 2010-2018.
In every episode of "How Can I Say This...", you’ll find ideas about how to handle your communication conundrums; tips on feeling more confident and comfortable with conflict; opportunities to learn from real-life situations through questions shared by listeners; and ultimately, gain skills and techniques for dealing with sticky situations at work and home. Of course, we can’t be all talk and no action; each show will end with an invitation to try a particular technique or approach that came up in the episode.
Episodes will feature a mixture of commentary, listener questions, and expert guest interviews and contributions. The scope of conversation will evolve over time... we’re open to seeing where this goes. Thanks for joining us on the journey!

"The Free Palestine Podcast - A Conversation With" is a poignant podcast series that explores the deeply personal and profound stories of individuals affected by the occupation. Each episode, hosted by Tadhg Hickey, presents a unique opportunity for listeners to engage with the intimate narratives and insights of those who have experienced life under occupation, their journey to diaspora, and their enduring hope and spirit amidst ongoing challenges.
This series is conceived as an occasional exploration rather than a commitment to a regular broadcasting schedule, allowing for the thoughtful selection of stories that shed light on the human aspects of a situation often overshadowed by political discourse. Through personal anecdotes, reflections, and emotions, the podcast emphasizes the individual experiences and aspirations for a future marked by peace and justice.
"The Free Palestine Podcast - A Conversation With" is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who live with the realities of the occupation, inviting listeners into a space of understanding and empathy. An approachable leadership podcast hosted by seasoned people manager and creative problem solver Dia Zafer-Joyce. Listen along as Dia explores the connections between business, culture, and community, testing her theory that every business problem has a people-centric solution.
Hi, I’m Natalie Ginor. In this podcast, I am embarking on a journey to share the stories of relatable people, whose lives, like most of ours, are complex, burdened, and filled with both sorrow and vitality. Their resilience, empathy, and curiosity serve as inspiration for living with the challenges, shadowed realities, and beauty woven into the intricacies of life. It is in these shared stories that perhaps we will grapple with our own responses to challenge and how perhaps eventually we can bring our own grace for impact.
