Love in action is listening to understand, not to react. This is not a podcast about discussing spiritual deconstruction, reconstruction, contemplation or The Bible. There are numerous podcasts that do that...we know because we love and listen to them constantly. Our intent is taking all that we know and believe at the time and live it out in a conversation while sitting at a literal or figurative table. We won't shy away from a topic or person and we aren't going to have an argument or debate. Here are those conversations. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

This series of video podcasts is based upon a system for success developed by psychologist, Dr. Bill Crawford, (Ph.D.). The basic premise of this philosophy is that the reason we are less than effective is that the problems in our life trigger the release of certain stress-related chemicals that engage the lower 20% of our brain which is incapable of creative thinking. This results in feelings of stress, frustration, and the desire to either lash out or escape. What makes Dr. Crawford's "Top of the Mind" system unique and powerful is that it shows us how to change the chemical make-up of our body and shift to the upper 80% of our brain where we can access the clarity, confidence, and creativity necessary to bring our best to all aspects of life.

‘Life On Your Terms’ with Phil Graham is designed for accomplished entrepreneurs & individuals who are trying to figure out or want to make the most out of their next big move in life and business. By the age of 30, Phil Graham has accomplished what take most a lifetime. He possesses wisdom well beyond his years, and is someone worth listening to no matter where you’re at in life or business. When Phil was younger, he had his health taken away from him when he was diagnosed with type one diabetes. He was told he wouldn’t lead a normal life and that his future would be uncertain. Phil set out on a mission to defy the odds, take control and totally transform his life. He went on to become a champion bodybuilder despite being told it was impossible, authored the world’s first encyclopaedia on how to build muscle and get in shape with diabetes and now is founder of the world’s largest training organisation for fitness entrepreneurs. Phil’s work has impacted and changed the lives of countless individuals and entrepreneurs. Phil makes millions in profit every single year, working less than 20 hours per week doing what he loves. He has built one of the most impressive lifestyle businesses in the world and is on a mission to share the thinking behind his success with entrepreneurs who want to get the most out of life and business. What start doing about all of this is that Phil wouldn’t be able to have achieve any of this without diabetes. Phil's personal philosophy centers around the power of defiance, the ability to turn chaos into order, trusting in the flow of life, and refusing to settle for mediocrity. He believes in personal sovereignty, self-reliance, and the courage to be authentically rebellious, principles that have guided his journey to success. This podcast will inspire you to think deeper, bigger and provides actionable insights to help you live life on your terms. "Life on Your Terms" revolves around the concept of seven currencies for success, including freedom, money, health, family, relationships, identity, and mission. Phil believes that many people miss out on success by letting their inner child run their business, making decisions based on circumstances rather than vision, and failing to understand that success is a feeling, not just a material goal. You'll discover actionable strategies, inspirational stories, and interviews with remarkable individuals. Phil will guide you on your journey to success and personal growth, helping you overcome obstacles, break free from average, and experience the beauty of life. Tune in to engage in clear, direct, and powerful calm discussions that encourage you to think deeper and live life on your terms.

Every day, 100 civilians are killed in conflict and countless more are harmed, often without recognition, recourse, or justice. Yet their perspectives are repeatedly missing from the stories we tell about war and the way we think about war’s costs. The Civilian Protection Podcast, brought to you by CIVIC and PAX, shares the voices of people affected by war, the dangers they face, the choices they make, and what can be done to better protect them -- because we believe it’s time to put them at the center of the discussion. Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) envisions a world in which no civilian is harmed in conflict. We support communities affected by conflict in their quest for protection and strengthen the resolve and capacity of armed actors to prevent and respond to civilian harm. PAX works to protect civilians living in conflict. Our purpose is to reduce civilian harm, end armed violence and build sustainable peace around the world. To achieve this, we work closely with civil society and authorities at local and international levels to put civilian perspectives first.

High Conflict People explores the five types of people who can ruin your life—people with high conflict personalities and how they weave themselves into our lives in romance, at work, next door, at school, places of worship, and just about everywhere, causing chaos, exhaustion, and dread for everyone else. They are the most difficult of difficult people — some would say they’re toxic. Without them, tv shows, movies, and the news would be boring, but who wants to live that way in your own life! Have you ever wanted to know what drives them to act this way? In the It’s All Your Fault podcast, we’ll take you behind the scenes to understand what’s happening in the brain and illuminates why we pick HCPs as life partners, why we hire them, and how we can handle interactions and relationships with them. We break down everything you ever wanted to know about people with the 5 high conflict personality types: narcissistic, borderline, histrionic, antisocial/sociopath, and paranoid. And we’ll give you tips on how to spot them and how to deal with them.

Harvest of Mars seeks to uncover the essentials of war. Essentials that have been swept under the rug or forgotten by people and societies eager to rewrite history in a way that is intellectually pleasing. This podcast seeks to open your eyes to aspects of military history that, as Paul Fussell accurately noted, never got into the books because of what he called the Disneyfication of war. Here you will get authentic insights from someone who has a genuine love for the material. If you are curious and enjoy seeing things from a new perspective, this is the podcast for you! You do not even know a lot about military history. Perhaps you enjoy stories about the past but have never taken a history course and are just curious. It’s all good. I get students all the time who are new to history and they learn a ton because I nudge people toward new things they have not thought about rather than have them memorize facts. .

What's up guys, my name is Greg Anderson, and after spending a decade in the Special Operations/Para-Military community and 14 overseas deployments, I pursued a new career in Law Enforcement with the interest in putting the deployment lifestyle behind me. In light of so many events in 2020 regarding law enforcement I decided to speak up on the behalf of the profession and it ultimately cost me my job, but because of this I’ve taken my life in a new direction and one of my pursuits is launching this podcast! The Endless Endeavor Podcasts was created with the understanding that life is a continuous and arduous journey. I’ve learned that the only way I can grow and develop as a human is maintaining an understanding that there is always a lot to learn and preserve a curiosity across a wide spectrum of interests. Through this journey of life I have had the honor to walk amongst giants and look forward to bringing our listeners quality content on a variety of topics. We will be delving into military operations, jiu jitsu and martial arts, liberty and freedom, tactical proficiency, health and wellness, overcoming depression and PTSD, leadership and team dynamics, parenting, law enforcement and so much more.

The Voices Unheard podcast exists to illuminate and amplify the frequently unheard voices of physicians and surgeons in today’s healthcare system. These bimonthly interview discussions are uncharacteristically transparent revealing the lived experiences of under-represented medical doctors who face unthinkable workplace discrimination and harassment related to gender, sexual identity, race, ethnicity, and other intersectional identities and/or ethical values that do not ’fit” into the status quo. In shining a light on these compelling personal stories we hope to fan the flame of sustainable culture change in medicine and surgery in order to transpose a safe, dignified, equitable, and inclusive workplace to future generations. For more information or to access our library of episodes with the associated links, please visit: www.voicesinmedicine.com

The “How Can I Say This...” podcast offers tips and advice for interpersonal communications challenges, such as difficult conversations, conflict, giving and receiving feedback, negotiating, and other situations where what you say and how you say it makes all the difference.

Your host is Beth Buelow, PCC, founder of ZOPA Consulting and author of “The Introvert Entrepreneur: Amplify Your Strengths and Create Success on Your Own Terms.” Beth’s credentialed professional coach and trained mediator. She loves finding the “Zone of Possible Agreement” (ZOPA!) in any situation that comes her way. She hosted The Introvert Entrepreneur Podcast from 2010-2018.

In every episode of "How Can I Say This...", you’ll find ideas about how to handle your communication conundrums; tips on feeling more confident and comfortable with conflict; opportunities to learn from real-life situations through questions shared by listeners; and ultimately, gain skills and techniques for dealing with sticky situations at work and home. Of course, we can’t be all talk and no action; each show will end with an invitation to try a particular technique or approach that came up in the episode.

Episodes will feature a mixture of commentary, listener questions, and expert guest interviews and contributions. The scope of conversation will evolve over time... we’re open to seeing where this goes. Thanks for joining us on the journey!

Religion is a powerful force in today’s world, as almost any newspaper or news broadcast will make clear. Inextricably linked with nationalism, popular culture, social norms and the lives of individuals, it touches almost every area of public and private life. This course examines many of the most exciting and controversial issues in religion today, including the impact of globalisation/Evangelicalism, feminism and environmentalism, and whether secularisation might mean the eventual death of religious practices and institutions, or whether New Age, Wicca and other alternative spiritualities might become the new face of post-modern religion. This material is taken from The Open University Course AD317 Religion today: tradition, modernity and change.
