Welcome to "The Broken System Podcast," where we delve into the intricate web of societal challenges that individuals face when caught in the crosshairs of a flawed system. Join us as we shine a light on the untold stories of those marginalized by circumstances beyond their control – whether it's the impact of drugs, the world of prostitution, or the weight of financial disparity.

In each episode, we unravel the complex narratives that often remain hidden beneath the surface, exploring the human experiences and emotions that arise when individuals find themselves grappling with a world that seems stacked against them. With empathy and insight, we engage in conversations that seek to understand the systemic forces at play, the personal battles fought, and the resilience that emerges from the shadows.

Through thought-provoking interviews, in-depth research, and poignant storytelling, "The Broken System Podcast" aims to foster a deeper understanding of how these issues intersect and perpetuate cycles of disadvantage. By amplifying voices that are often unheard, we strive to ignite conversations that lead to positive change, empathy, and a collective effort to mend a system that has left far too many behind.

Join us on a journey of discovery, empathy, and empowerment as we explore the stories that challenge our perceptions and inspire us to work towards a more just and equitable society for all. #thebrokensystempodcast

One person with a trail of victims as long as Boston Pool Road winding all the way back to 1997. What will it take for a punitive system to hold a known violent offender accountable? So many folks said that April Wilkens should have held back, should not have shot so many times, should have left. But what happens when an abuser is left unchecked in Oklahoma? Women are getting life sentences for fighting back — but men go on to abuse with impunity. Join us for this multi-part serial podcast to be released June 27th, 2023. When I was a child I loved to pretend. I would imagine myself as a teacher, a pediatrician, a flight attendant. All careers where I was helping people. I didn’t know it then, but those were leadership roles as well. Twenty plus years ago, I was injured in a work-related accident, that has left me with a severe permanent disability. It forced me to search inside myself and find what other passions, purpose and possibilities I could pursue. It was when I started my direct sales business, and later became one of the company’s gratitude ambassadors, I realized that I am a giver, a humanitarian, a cheer-leader, and have a deep desire to inspire others. I had no idea it was possible to make a bigger impact, until, well- I started this podcast! I figured out how to focus my business not only on helping others earn an income, but to foster a community of gratitude, giving back and to inspire others as well. Join me and my expert guests here, where you will learn to live with passion, reclaim your purpose and explore the wonder of possibilities. I am your host, Candice Snyder and this is Passion, Purpose and Possibilities podcast.
