In this episode, we share our personal journey over the last 11 years with infertility and childlessness, discussing the choices facing couples like us, why we turned down medical intervention, how we do/don't fit into our wider families, whether we are enough for each other as a two, and what our pivotal 'Line in the Sand' moment looked like.

We also asked some of our friends to anonymously submit questions they’d ask a childless couple if they were feeling brave, and they did not hold back! In fact, the questions were so good we ended up multiplying the episode into two parts.

In this episode we chat to Katie Elliott, speaker, content creator, coach and podcaster. She shared with us what it was like to face the rare situation of losing both parents to Vascular Dementia combined with Alzheimer's, before she was 41 years old. She speaks about having her first breakdown at the age of 12, grieving the loss of loved ones while they are still with you physically, the importance of still connecting with that person, and the invaluable advice of how being kind to yourself also helps those around you. She also tells us how her 'breakthrough came through a breakdown'.
