Ep 134 Daring to try something new

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone" is a saying that's not quite true for many Introverts, including Joanna. As Introverts, we're naturally overstimulated mentally, so a space where we are safe, can be vulnerable, and recharge our batteries is what we need.

But as Joanna said in this episode, we shouldn't stay in our comfort zones for so long that we become stagnant and resistant to change. The key to navigating this journey is to broaden the range of our comfort zones by continuously challenging ourselves.

Listen in as Joanna shares her own experience of expanding her comfort zone by converting frequent flyer points into seats at the Eleven98 Chef's Table in London which turned out to be a most memorable evening.

KEYPOINTS:

  • Definition of Comfort Zone
  • Working at the outer edge of our comfort zones
  • Joanna dared to try something new
  • Having no expectations and going with the flow
