46. Building the Ideal Client Experience for Podcast Hosts & Guests with Amy Feierman

2 Listeners
My guest today is Amy Feierman, who you might remember as our first Action-Taker of the Month. Amy is a client experience strategist and a student in the Go Pitch Yourself program.
Her experience might seem like a bit of a stretch in terms of its relevance to ‘visibility’ at first glance. But, since I’ve always maintained that the key to podcast pitching is building and maximizing relationships, with both the host and audience, having Amy on as a guest was a no-brainer. In this conversation, Amy and I chat about the ideal client experience as a two-way street, relating to both the potential guest and the podcast host.
Listen in to find out what a client experience strategist does, how Amy’s work relates to podcasting, and why losing her job when six months pregnant was one of the greatest things to ever happen to her.
Reminder: the doors for the Go Pitch Yourself program are opening back up very soon. So make sure to sign up for the ‘Pitch like a Pro’ masterclass if you’re ready to take your visibility game to the next level.

45. Show Up Boldly as YOU
My aim is always to create a safe space where women can feel confident and supported to transform the way they approach visibility and show up boldly as their true selves. Following a coaching call with the members of the Go Pitch Yourself program, I felt something nagging at me to share a bit about our conversations with you.
Each time we welcome new students into the program, I’m humbled at the opportunity I’ve earned to support these incredible women in sharing their voices and gifts with the world.
As these women are working through how to show up boldly as their true selves, I thought it only fitting for me to do the same. So, in this episode, I also share with you some ideas and topics that I’m considering sharing in a bigger way but have been hesitant to put out there.
If you listen to this episode and recognize that you’ve had a block preventing you from showing up boldly, I’d love to hear from you. Bonus, if you’re deciding to push through that fear and do it anyway, share THAT in your IG story and tag me on Instagram, and I’ll take action myself!
Spoiler: the doors for the Go Pitch Yourself program are opening back up very soon. So make sure to sign up for the waitlist if you want to take your visibility game to the next level.

47. Opt-Ins That Serve and Sell with Kate Doster
I'm so excited that my guest today is Kate Doster, a current client of ours. She is here to share all of her wisdom in the email marketing space, which is closely connected to the world of podcast pitching.
Kate is the host of the Inbox Besties Podcast, creator of the Love Your List 2.0 email marketing mega course and is dangerously obsessed with helping ethical entrepreneurs carve out their slice of the interwebs. She helps her students woo open the hearts (and wallets) of their small but mighty audiences thanks to fun email marketing and easy yes mini-offers.
In this episode, we go ALL IN on a conversation around freebies and opt-ins that lead people to join your email list in a way that feels authentic AND is profitable. We also talked about how much you should actually ‘give away’ in your opt-in freebies, what format you should use, and we even nerded out on metrics a little bit!.
I hope you find this episode helpful and uber-actionable. I would love to hear from you what your favorite takeaway is. And with that in mind...
