Which one would you consider yourself? Jack of many trades or master of one?

But my real question to you is, have you heard the full quote?

In this episode, we'll debunk the truth of this quote and talk about which one is better for business productivity, performance, and sustainable profitability.

Is your business more like chocolate cake, or a Tylenol? You're probably wondering what in the world am I talking about. Your business is either a pain reliever or a pleasure provider. You either stop pain or you add joy, understanding which one you are, if you're the chocolate cake or you're the Tylenol makes all the difference in your messaging, in your branding and how you articulate yourself and how you position yourself and what techniques and tactics are going to help you grow your business. Because now you know which emotional triggers will give you the result that you want.

If you know that your business is stopping pain, you want to push that pain as hard as you can. And then you hit them with the solution on the other end of the stick.

If you're creating joy, you want to make that joy feel so well that they will see it. Your consumers will want to be happy. It's going to take away all the pain and it's going to give them all the joy. They're getting that dopamine hit. You're speaking right to them because they're going to get joy. They're going to get happiness and that is their expectation.

So understanding if you provide the chocolate cake or you provide the Tylenol, is a big thing to understand in the roadmap, to the growth and the success and the longevity of your business.

If a client says yes and signs but reneges...
If a client says yes but ghosts you...
If a client says no...
Which situation was worse? The outcome was the same. That particular door of opportunity was not meant to open for you.

We can't control the outcome, just like we can't swim upstream of a waterfall no matter how much effort we put into it.

Whether it's an upmarket acquisition, increasing sales, maximizing marketing, expanding brand authority, and so on, they all require you to do one key thing: keep knocking.

This episode breaks down the mindset, tenacity, patience, poise, and persistence required to be successful at anything in business, from marketing to sales to branding to network and just running your business in general. I will use a simple analogy to convey a big message, so be prepared to go on a mental journey!

Swagger is such a powerful word, and yet it's frequently misconstrued.
The way I see it, businesses, brands, and people with a certain level of swagger typically win.
And who doesn't want to be a winner?
But the question is, do you have that swagger that is infectious enough that attracts, amplifies, and activates people to become your customers, be part of your community, and serve as your extended branding, marketing, and sales teams?
Swagger is imperative to win. Swagger separates you from the competition.
Swagger makes you memorable. When you're memorable, you stay top of mind.
But the key is to make sure you "keep that same energy" at every interaction point with a customer, fan, advocate, prospect, employee, client, etc.
This episode breaks down the importance of swagger and how it is essential to the growth and development of your business, positioning, power, community, and ultimately your business or brand legacy.

When is the last time you looked at your customer journey through the eyes of your ideal customer? Is your journey optimized and systemized to give the right value at every stage? Are your marketing, branding, SEO, and selling initiatives in alignment with where you are in your business right now? Some businesses' customer journeys and initiatives are stuck on awareness mode when they need to switch to sales, acquisition, and conversions mode.
Let me share with you a 5-point customer journey blueprint that you can modify to fit your current situation. I'll then show you how to expand your marketing and sales tactics and effectiveness using your actual customers. We'll also debunk some myths many businesses are still doing that are costing them sales, repeatable buyers, and causing them to fail.
Businesses that achieve high-level sustainability and scalable success use various strategies and techniques I cover in this episode to grow. Take a listen and adjust your business strategy accordingly.

Everyone wants to talk about Brand Identity: Who am I? What am I? What's my niche? Who is my target audience? Where's my community? You know, the usual stuff.
But what businesses don't do enough, is put the time in to understand their level of Brand Equity: How much value do you have in the bank today? How many people are buying into your brand right now? Are you getting enough value back? What is your brand perception and experience among those who engage with your brand? Are you generating enough money through your current brand positioning? And how well does every layer of your brand resonate?

Understanding and reassessing what your brand equity is while checking if it is in alignment with what you need to achieve is critical to how your business shows up and converts. If you recall my episode about the relationship status of B.A.E. among your customers, then this is the next level masterclass around that core point.

It's all about trust. If you have the trust of your customers, clients, network, community, you can stay (and scale) in business.

In today's episode, I'm going to reference a study to talk about trust currency, brand equity, a deep dive into branding, establishing branding positioning, and how it's important to the overall success and sustainability and the scalability and the growth of your business in every facet from you as the business to the consumer, to the customer, to the deliverables and beyond.

There are very hard truths that I really want to break down. Not everybody will see the potential of your business. Not everyone will see the potential of what you bring to the table. Not everyone will see your potential as an employee. Not everyone can see your potential as a startup. Not everyone will see your potential as a freelancer.

Now that we've gotten that out the way, let me also make this very clear: that person is only one person who does not see the value in what you feel is valuable.

You have to keep going. This is the part where you must simply have conviction and have the understanding while possessing the patience to trust your skillset, to trust your ability, to trust yourself, to trust that what you want will manifest in time.

How do you get people to buy more than once? You need to understand the needs and wants of how a sale actually works. People know exactly what they want to buy, or they discover what they want to buy.

Qualify versus disqualify. Disqualify in order to maximize your efforts to those who do qualify. Take joy in disqualifying because it will save you so much time, money, effort, and energy.

If you're in the value game business, you're giving value, and whatever you put out there, people are either qualifying or disqualifying themselves from taking the next action or subsequent action. The value is going to help them understand where they want to go.

Quantity vs Quality.

Content Creation vs Content Distribution.

Value vs Volume.

Which combination would you focus on for your business? Social media marketing? Will work for your audience?

It's time to tackle one of the greatest debates in marketing, which is more important: quality or quantity?

This episode is jam-packed with gems, various points of view, and is intended to dig deep into how do we quantify quality, how much volume do you need to do to have effective quantity, and is the quality of content created defined by how many times that piece of content can be repurposed among various distribution channels.
