On today's episode I was lucky enough to it down with one of the worlds leading sports scientists, elite level coach, author, speaker and former monk, Shayamal Vallabhjee.
This conversation was deep, insightful, and actionable.
In my opinion Shayamal has a special talent of measuring the intangible aspects of performance instead of hoping they show up when needed. He has systems to track them, make them repeatable and use them for growth.
We started off discussing spirituality and specifically some passages from the Bhagavad Gita and how it can help us all live life a little more free and less attached to the outcome.
From there we went all over elite performance, mindset, psychology, and optimization of our lives.
I know you will love this episode and learn some invaluable insights from the world class coach and human; Shayamal Vallabhjee.

Hello my Get Uncomfortable compadre!
If you're new to the show, welcome!

Today I had the honor of speaking with David Olcott, founder of Samurai Success, author of Swords of Illumination, he is master certified in NLP, a business & personal coach, former trainer for Anthony Robbins, and much more.
We had a fantastic conversation about his book, the technologies his company uses to help their clients achieve results in business and life like never before, manifesting your dreams, defining your values, creating a sense of destiny, and the importance of love & congruency.
When I read Swords of Illumination I knew right away how powerful his book was. It is set in the Edo period of Japan and tracks the journey of young Yoshi on his path to becoming a great Samurai.
It speaks directly to the human condition of finding purpose, living up to and defining your values, doing the right actions to uphold your values, and ultimately living life as the person you know you can truly be.
Please be sure to check out Samurai Success and the services they offer and David's book at the links below:

Today we discuss common characteristics of people who successfully lose weight meaning; they lose it and keep it off without massive regain.
Before that though I though it would be useful to describe Maslow's four stages of competence when learning a new skill so you understand what the process looks like when embarking on a new skill.
They are as follows:
1. Unconscious incompetence
2. Conscious incompetence
3. Conscious competence
4. Unconscious competence
These are the stages you will go through while trying to learn how to adhere to a diet or changing your habits. Listen in to the episode for more details.
I hope you enjoyed this episode and if you did share it with one other person in your life who would find it useful.

Today's episode is with my brother Landon and we covered topics far and wide. There's some pretty powerful tips in this episode surrounding training for martial arts specifically, the importance of physical training for your mental health, thinking for yourself and forming your own opinions, and recognizing propaganda in the media.
This was a new style of show where we came in with no topic ideas and just hit record. It was a really interesting conversation and we covered A LOT of ground. Enjoy the show!

If you want to fail on your weight loss journey or stay stuck where you're at, try to change everything all at once and burn out fast. Best way to stay fat.
Focus on changing everything all at once and then give up shortly after due to overwhelm and fatigue.
There's a better way to do it friends, and that is to pick ONE thing and get really consistent with that one habit change. Create little wins and set yourself up with momentum.
The large majority of people who succeed on their weight loss journey are those who can get consistent with one health habit at a time and build/add new ones with the new skills they've gained.

Hello!
This is a quick Tuesday tune up all about how to stop compromising with yourself and why that's basically a super power once you realize where you're doing this at.
This is something that I have recently been examining in my own life and identifying areas I'm allowing myself to slip up.
I talk about what it means to compromise with yourself, the effect of that, what I don't mean b y stop compromising, the mindset you need to make it stop, and a protocol you can implement in your life to help build up the ability to avoid falling prey to this.
If you enjoy the show, please share it with someone for us or tag them in one of clips on social media.
