Today I had the honor of speaking with David Olcott, founder of Samurai Success, author of Swords of Illumination, he is master certified in NLP, a business & personal coach, former trainer for Anthony Robbins, and much more.
We had a fantastic conversation about his book, the technologies his company uses to help their clients achieve results in business and life like never before, manifesting your dreams, defining your values, creating a sense of destiny, and the importance of love & congruency.
When I read Swords of Illumination I knew right away how powerful his book was. It is set in the Edo period of Japan and tracks the journey of young Yoshi on his path to becoming a great Samurai.
It speaks directly to the human condition of finding purpose, living up to and defining your values, doing the right actions to uphold your values, and ultimately living life as the person you know you can truly be.
Please be sure to check out Samurai Success and the services they offer and David's book at the links below:

On today's episode I was lucky enough to it down with one of the worlds leading sports scientists, elite level coach, author, speaker and former monk, Shayamal Vallabhjee.
This conversation was deep, insightful, and actionable.
In my opinion Shayamal has a special talent of measuring the intangible aspects of performance instead of hoping they show up when needed. He has systems to track them, make them repeatable and use them for growth.
We started off discussing spirituality and specifically some passages from the Bhagavad Gita and how it can help us all live life a little more free and less attached to the outcome.
From there we went all over elite performance, mindset, psychology, and optimization of our lives.
I know you will love this episode and learn some invaluable insights from the world class coach and human; Shayamal Vallabhjee.

Today's episode is with one of the best coaches I've had the pleasure of not only watching work, but getting to work with.
Nissa Cohen is Co-Owner of a large gym called CrossFit Kinesis located in Gretna, Nebraska.
Nissa has a knack for human movement and behavior, that's for sure.
She taught me so much about the art of coaching and I still use a plethora of things I learned watching her educate and guide people through workouts.
Thank you so much for coming on the show Nissa!
In this episode we covered a wide range of topics; behavior change when it comes to nutrition & lifestyle change, her journey into entrepreneurship, her thoughts on children's nutrition, the problems with covid policies, and more.
As always, if you found value in this episode please share it with at least one person in your circle. I'm eternally grateful for everyone who does!

Jason Herrick and his wife Caitlin decided to start playing offense for their children and the future of this country by taking control of the education they provide their children, themselves, and all the families lives they will touch through starting their own Apogee Strong campus; Apogee HoCo.
Howard County, Maryland will be home to one of 50 campuses starting up in the near future all over the US. The mission of Apogee Strong is one that resonates with me deeply. Leading through example, not being afraid of failure, critical thinking, hands on learning, educating the whole family & more.
Jason's story of suffering a severe concussion early in his professional soccer career left him unsure of the future of his family and his ability to provide. After being stuck of the subscription model of healthcare, and dealing with let down after let down, he realized through the help of some non-traditional medical professionals that he had the power to heal himself.
It took searching out and being proactive about his care to find this solution. He now aims to provide all the families that enroll in Apogee HoCo this same gift.
His leadership philosophy is to encourage, educate, and empower and he lives this in his own life and you'll be able to pick up on his care and authenticity in today's episode. Enjoy!
