The One Where We Talk About Friends
07/23/20 • 39 min
This conversation is not about the television show, but kudos to you if you caught that reference! This is more about the comment I made in Episode 1, "Be Your Own Best Friend".
We talk about how you have to know, love and accept yourself before you will be fully present to recognize others who are living in their truth. This is important work, this conversation is full of excellent reminders.
Shout out to the Breaking Sales Podcast Episode 7 for a great analogy!

My Personal Algorithm Refresh
This conversation is a real mixed bag, based on many past conversations and a working knowledge of social media algorithms. Algorithms are based on our interests and past engagement, we sometimes need to take inventory of those. The Golden Ticket Prof explains why and how a recent Facebook hiatus has led to better self awareness, breathing, better personal boundaries, introspection and more. It is also a great review of the past fifteen episodes around truly understanding, accepting and loving yourself then using your Golden Ticket.
Jay DuSold is mentioned and here is where you can learn more about his high school coaching.

Co Dependent Behaviors
This conversation is about how to identify co-dependent behaviors in yourself and others. Mostly, the concepts of patterns and boundaries are, once again, the major takeaways. Knowing yourself is key; knowing about your childhood, your triggers, your tendencies and your WHY in terms of decisions and relationships. But, then accepting yourself is the next step in utilizing your Golden Ticket. In order to truly accept yourself, you have to know yourself and hang on, not lose yourself in others or in the hiding behind others.
