Each week the show has on guests that are female angel investors and general partners who are women that have started their own fund- and have a focus on funding women, LGBTQ and Bipoc. She also showcases women business owners who are seeking funding. The show is all about education and connection- providing investment resources for women looking to launch or scale their business. Listeners are female entrepreneurs who want to connect with resources- which can include funding, coaching, accelerators, mentorship, events and more. Many female founders find it challenging to find funding. She Angel Investors has created an e course to address that issue – it is called “6 Ways to Fund Your Business”- Funding Made Simple for Female Founders. Here is the link https://bit.ly/35nFCnO Women of all ages and ethnicities can connect to learning, events, education and contacts through the INVEST IN HER podcast and the SHE ANGEL INVESTORS platform. The show delivers invaluable information to those women in business who are seeking funding, knowledge and insights on how to take their business to the next level. As an angel investor, entrepreneur and a woman who raises funds and helps others to connect to funding – Catherine provides a wealth of knowledge and a large rolodex to connect her guests to funding resources. Catherine is producing a movie to raise awareness about the underfunding of women and how you can be a part of the solution. She is on a mission to encourage more women to become angel investors and fund managers, and to accelerate the funding of diverse women across the U.S. and around the globe. Catherine Gray is also the Co-Founder of the She Angels Foundation- that gives grants to female founded nonprofits that are helping women to thrive. Women and Girls initiatives only get two percent of charitable giving. In both the for-profit world and the nonprofit world- women are coming up short. Women can join the SheAngelsFoundation.org for a tax-deductible donation- details are on the site- and then once a member – you can enjoy the salons at members homes for free. The salons consist of amazing, accomplished women- and provide complimentary food, drink and entertainment. It is a wonderful sisterhood that helps so many women. We have provided grants the help women of domestic violence get back on their feet, the same for formerly incarcerated women, women veterans and more. Plus, women in Science, Blockchain and more. In her Ted Talk, “Fund Women- Save The World”, Catherine talks about why women are underfunded. The people making the decisions in the investment world are typically white men- and because people tend to invest in people they identify with, it is no wonder most of the money goes to men. We need more women angel investors, and more women at the decision-making table in order to change this scenario. Her Tedx talk is here https://youtu.be/Ms-tROEeLn4 Subscribe to the INVEST IN HER Podcast to stay connected with what is happening in the investment world for women- and learn how it can benefit you. It's not the things that happen in your life that define you, that create your identity. It's how you talk about those things. That’s the theme behind this podcast. Research shows that the stories you tell have a major influence in how you see yourself and in how others perceive you, so it’s important to be intentional about which stories you share and how you share them. Guests on the podcast share the pivotal moments in their lives and careers, offering keen insights and “ah ha” moments to listeners, while triggering related memories of listeners, opening up opportunities to uncover their own patterns and discover better ways to share their stories. During this podcast, I’m asking you to listen to consider your related stories, and to listen to consider which stories in your life might have impacted you in a similar way. --- Sarah works with executives who know that story sharing makes them more compelling as speakers and leaders, and who want to improve how they connect with audiences, by uncovering the right stories and learning how to share them effectively so they can clearly and actively demonstrate their character, values, and vision.

Achieve your destiny and be successful at any level by staying rooted in a strong work ethic, determination, and integrity. My Mom and Dad were factory workers and generations before them were farmers or coal miners. My path took me in a business direction, but it was still the work ethics and values of my blue collar roots that helped me reach top executive levels. My Dad was a man of few words, but as I navigated through my career I could always find the answers I needed in the subtle things he said or did. I believe these nuggets can help anyone achieve any level of success they desire and I want to share them. I have written many of these in an unpublished book, but my gift is talking and not writing. So I am going to share them in this weekly podcast in hopes someone finds them valuable or at least entertaining. It doesn't matter what color your collar is. We all have gifts and a purpose. None more important than the other. The important thing is that we all reach our full potential and be the best we can be.

For most women, when we are invited to study leadership the teachers, scholars, authorities and models are primarily... men. We are indoctrinated from the time we are born that men are the leaders and that natural male characteristics are the strengths you must also possess to be a good leader. Powerful. Strong. Authoritative. Direct. Assertive. Decisive. These and so many more are attributes that are typically associated with the male model of a leader. And so, for the better part of the last one hundred years as women have made their way into the fold, in a variety of leadership roles, we have learned and studied to walk the way of a men to achieve success. Women dismiss their own knowing because we’ve been so indoctrinated in male leadership models. We dismiss what we know for what others tell us to be and how to be seen. There is another way to lead. To be in alignment. To not feel like an imposter. It’s time for the reimagining of leadership. That’s not to disparage any of the progress that has come before us. Progress is progress. For those of us who stand in the footsteps of the women who came before us we are here because of their courage, bravery and resilience. I wonder instead if women equally looked to the characteristics they learned from their mothers for leadership. I wonder if we were taught to lean on different qualities to drive success. I wonder what might happen then? The traditional qualities of mothering are communication, nurturing, listening, strength, support, grace, and yes... love. What if to be the best leader you can be as a woman, you integrated the best of both? This is how women will stand with integrity in their role as leaders. As women, we can be assertive, direct, powerful, and authoritative but we need not only rely on those attributes for success. After 25 years of watching and studying leaders, I can tell you that for sure many traditional male attributes are effective in the short run, but they typically only serve a few. Whereas, when leadership is feminine. When the leader possesses the strengths of femininity and grace the results are for all. This podcast is my like my gentle request and invitation to my fellow female leaders that we reclaim the world leadership as one that is a feminine definition. That we continue to work with all of our allies to build organizations and systems that include more support, collaboration, grace and communication. And that we do so not because we are uncomfortable with the more traditional male-dominating models, but because we truly do know that leadership is a feminine strength and attribute. And the world needs more of us leading. Now more than ever.

"What Do You Know To Be True?" is a podcast series with ordinary people about their extraordinary talent, their superhero power, and the meaningful impact it has on others.
Charting a path to unlocking one's potential starts with a deeper understanding of one’s superpower and how to make a meaningful impact in service of others.

In these conversations, Roger Kastner seeks to discover more about our guests' path to purpose and unlocking potential by exploring their journey from developing their extraordinary talent to creating meaningful impact for others.

The goal of these conversations is not to try to emulate it or “hack” our way to a new talent. Instead, these conversations are to inspire you to think deeply about how to create positive impact in service of others.

This podcast is for Org Development practitioners, coaches, mentors, and anyone who works with other people to unlock their challenges and achieve more. Our audience thinks deeply about their work, the space they hold, and the positive impact it has in service of others.

Our guests bring humility, insights, gratitude, and humor as they delve deep into their experiences, learnings, and impact their "superhero power" has had when used successfully.
The path to purpose: Ordinary people, extraordinary talent, meaningful impact in the service of others.
By learning more about what inspired our guests to develop this extraordinary talent, how they think about their superhero power, and the impact it has on others as well as themselves, we gain inspiration and awareness of our superhero powers and our path to a more fulfilling life in the service of others.
At the heart of our conversations lies the fundamental notion that understanding the inspiration for one's superhero power is pivotal to unlocking a deeper understanding of purpose. In these episodes, we delve deep into what ignites this extraordinary talent within our guests, how they nurture it, and the remarkable ways it enriches the lives of others when employed in service of a greater good.
Whether you're a coach, mentor, educator, organization development practitioner, or simply someone navigating your own journey to finding your purpose and how you can create meaning for your life, this podcast aims to offer a wealth of wisdom to deepen your understanding and enhance your impact.
We steer clear of the notion of gimmicks or shortcuts, recognizing that the pursuit of purpose is a deeply personal and nuanced endeavor. By approaching each conversation with humility, vulnerability, and curiosity, we uncover the unique facets of our guests' superhero powers, how they developed and nurtured those talents, and the impact they have on themselves and others when used. In doing so, we hope to inspire others by witnessing how those stories resonate with our own journeys and experiences.
Expect to be inspired, challenged, and uplifted as our guests share their profound insights, peppered with humility, gratitude, and a generous dose of humor (be sure to check out the blooper highlights at the end). Through their anecdotes, reflections, and wisdom, we gain a deeper appreciation for the transformative potential of our superhero powers and the ripple effect they create in the lives of others.
Our purpose is to inspire you to explore the possibilities that lie within you, to ignite your potential, and chart a course towards a life of purpose, service, and meaningful fulfillment.
