Today, we are talking about reason #5 of the 5 reasons why your business needs cybersecurity, which is to Protect Your Reputation.
Without cybersecurity measures in place, you may lose future clients if they learn that your systems are vulnerable to, and have been exposed to, a cyberattack. A public breach of data can lead to fines, lawsuits, and irreparable damage to your company’s reputation. Even if you do make moves to rectify past vulnerabilities, it may be too late for some people to restore faith in you. Avoid this loss of reputation by establishing security protocols early on.
These five reasons I’ve shared over the past five days are just some of the reasons, and some pretty costly ones, why you need to implement a cybersecurity strategy in your business. Protect your own and client data, prevent costly interruptions, and make sure your reputation stays clear of any cyberattacks that could harm not only your existing, but also future business as well.

Today we are talking about tip #5 of the 5 tips for mastering your beliefs, which is: Listen to your gut.
This is a tip that is too often overlooked, in my opinion. You would be surprised at how many successful entrepreneurs admit that they went on nothing more than a “hunch” and ended up hitting it out of the park. While this kind of instant success rarely happens, your gut can be more right than your head, in many situations. Approach decisions with an awareness of how you feel about them. Do you get a “bad feeling”? Do you get butterflies from your excitement? Stick to decisions that feel “good” and stay away from the ones that make you feel “bad.”
When you expand your belief system, you expand your success. In addition, when you learn to make decisions based on your awareness of wealth and success, your beliefs will shape your success in the way you want it.

Today, we are talking about reason #2 why your business needs cybersecurity, which is to Protect Proprietary Client Data.
A data breach of client data, including but not limited to personal information, personal logins, bank account information, and more, can result in a huge blow to your business. Your clients rely on you to protect their data, and you risk losing both current and future clients if you don’t put systems into place to protect their information.
Not only that, but you could be subject to fines or lawsuits in the event of a breach of client data. Only collect the necessary information you need from a client, and make sure to limit access to it. Not every team or team member needs to have access to 100% of your clients’ information.

Today, we are talking about reason #4 why your business needs cybersecurity, which is to Prevent Costly Interruptions to Your Business.
If you run an ecommerce business that’s the victim of a cyberattack, there is a treasure trove of information that hackers have access to, such as customers’ addresses, emails, and even credit card information. If your site gets hacked, that essentially takes away your ability to sell your products, which could cost you thousands, or hundreds of thousands of dollars in business while you get your site back up.
Additionally, if the cyberattack targets sensitive information that you need to do business, you’ll have to put a pause on it while you implement stronger cybersecurity practices. You may lose login credentials or parts of your software or website that’s needed to perform business practices, and every day that you don’t have access to your data is a potential loss in revenue.

You might not mind working long hours and never getting time to yourself, but there are a few ways in which such a schedule can really impact you... and one of these is in the realm of fitness and physical health.
There are a number of good reasons to stay physically active, fit, and healthy... and we are going to talk about five of them over the next 5 days. There may be more good reasons (many more, actually), but these are probably five of the most important. Taking these reasons into account will DEFINITELY help you to see that it is in your own best interest to stay in good physical condition.

Today we are talking about Tip #3 for mastering your beliefs, which is: Are you a victim or a master?
There is one solid rule you can count on: successful entrepreneurs never think of themselves as victims. This is a major factor that separates the wealthy from the poor. The wealthy understand they are 100% responsible for their reality, making them masters of accountability. When there is no one to blame, there is no finger to point, and therefore, no crime. With no crime, there cannot be a victim. Period. There is something magical that happens when you take 100% responsibility for your own success – and that is a feeling of freedom. You are your own entity and you control your own destiny; it all starts with your beliefs.

The types of company data that can be targeted in a cyberattack includes anything from employee information to your company’s bank account information. Whether you’re working from your office, or remotely, it’s important to take care not to leave your laptop open on sensitive screens, and to use cybersecurity measures to protect the data.
Your company may also have proprietary processes, protocols, or intellectual property that you need to protect against.
A big reason why hackers target businesses is to get money. Ransomware is one of the most common types of cyberattacks, and works by locking your company’s users out of your system until a ransom is paid to the hacker. They can also get money in other ways, such as access to your financial accounts, once they’ve hacked your system.

Today we are talking about Productivity Strategy #5 of the 5 strategies to Stick with Your Calendar Time Blocks, which is to Take Brief Breaks to Regain Energy.
Very few business professionals can work nonstop throughout the day. We aren’t productivity machines. We are people who need breaks to recharge. Scheduling brief breaks within your time blocks matters just as much as scheduling tasks.
Business professionals take various mini breaks that range from a brief walk or a 15-minute power nap. These breaks pull you away from the computer screen to return to work fully focused and 100% present.
Scheduling brief breaks mixes up the day and will help you get more done in less time. Creating time blocks is a great way to boost your productivity. Sticking with them allows you to reap the rewards by taking your business to the next level of success.
Studies show that incorporating exercise into the workday improved time management skills by 72% as opposed to days where the participants did not exercise at all.
