Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

I am first and foremost a husband and father of two kids currently age 3 and 15 months. I am the founder of the mental health ecosystem, Fragile Moments, which seeks to create the tools and community for the mind that advances the conversation towards one of healing. I am also the charismatic host of several mental health podcasts including "What's Your Story?" and I enjoy telling stories along with helping to educate and advocate for greater mental health awareness.

Why did you get into podcasting?

I got into podcasting because I wanted to make a difference in the world of mental health. I've always been fascinated by the stories told on podcasts and how they have shaped my thinking on various topics, and I wanted to be a part of that.

How did the idea for the show come about?

I work 1:1 with clients each day regarding their overall health. What I began to realize was that we are all connected through these lived experience, the shared fragile moments. Not only are we connected by them, but we can build and heal our lives from these connections. That is the premise behind "What's Your Story?"

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

My hope is that when people listen to the stories told on my podcasts that they find some sense of relief about their own experience or struggle with mental health.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

My biggest challenge is being able to present these shows in a manner that pays respect of course to the stories being shared, but also is able to catch a listeners attention and want to be a part of the journey with me and with my guests.

How can your listeners support your show?

Listeners can support my shows by leaving a review so that others can see how important conversations like these are.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

In the future I want to build a media company that houses all podcasts that share a similar concept and mission as mine do so that when listeners want to take in a show that will speak to their challenges with mental health or simply bring them hope, they can turn to one spot.

Anything else you'd like to share?

Thank you for being a part of this journey with me and I truly look forward to connecting with each and every listener out there.
