When Amy Carney and her husband realized their family was disconnected and drifting apart, they packed up their kids into a motorhome and said goodbye to the life they had previously known. On that journey, Amy learned more about what really matters in life and as a parent. She has since gone on to write the book "Parent on Purpose: A Courageous Approach to Raising Children in a Complicated World," in order to help other parents reclaim their lives and prepare their kids to be confident, self-sufficient, empathetic, sincere adults who understand the value of play as well as self-care.
