Advice I Wish I'd Been Given Before Becoming a Mom Entrepreneur
03/30/23 • 18 min
When I first became a Mom, there was so much that I didn’t know. That’s true about entrepreneurship, too.
In today’s episode, I’m talking through all of the advice that I wish I had been given as I started this journey of motherhood and entrepreneurship.
• 2:15 - Comparing yourself to other people in your industry
• 5:45 - You need to outsource aspects of your life
• 13:00 - You’re not going to be perfect all of the time
• 16:00 - Your best is enough
Tune in to hear more about comparison, carving out space for yourself, releasing the pressure of being perfect in all ways, all of the time and feeling confident that your best is exactly what you’re capable of.
So glad to have this community with me on this journey of motherhood and building the businesses of our dreams! Until next time!

Motherhood and Entrepreneurship as a Highly Sensitive Person with Alissa Boyer
I seriously loved chatting with my friend Alissa Boyer in today’s episode! Alissa is a mentor for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and brings such a unique perspective to the journey of motherhood and entrepreneurship. Asking questions like, “why am I so sensitive?” and, “why do these things bother me and why don’t they bother other people?”... as we learn and answer these questions, we open our eyes to a whole new reality of ourselves and things begin to make more sense.
In today’s episode, we’re talking all things motherhood, entrepreneurship and the transition into this new lifestyle. Tune in to hear more...
• 2:27 - What is a Highly Sensitive Person?
• 5:45 - Transitioning into Motherhood
• 11:30 - Navigating Motherhood and Running a Business
• 19:30 - Showing Up on Social Media
• 30:00 - Take Care of Ourselves as Moms, CEOs and Highly Sensitive People
Motherhood is one of life’s biggest adventures, and it takes time to find yourself within it. I’m so glad to have had this opportunity to talk to Alissa who is changing the game and teaching others that you don’t have to be for everybody, and who you are for may change as you change...and that’s okay.
Can’t wait for you to tune in! Thanks for listening!
