In this episode, Jim joins the TSP bois and covers some basic knowledge about Celebrate Recovery, an organization we knew little about. He also digs deep in the difference between AA, NA and Celebrate Recovery which we found extremely fascinating! Jim works in the field of addiction, has gone through a pastorship and has started a Celebrate Recovery group when he first got sober in Chicopee, Massachusetts; really awesome stuff (Chickka Pakka, Chickka Pakka)... He certainly left some of us wanting to experience some of that!! We had a blast with our Mass brother, Jimbo. Thanks Jim and hope to get you back on the show sometime! Read more about CR at https://www.celebraterecovery.com/ and let us know if you end up checking it out! Again ya'll, thank you so much for listening and hope you continue to support us by leaving us reviews and sending us emails!

S2 E2: The Importance of Advocacy in the Opiate Epidemic (Ginny)
In this episode, we interview Ginny Atwood Lovitt; an important person in the recovery world! She is a key player in the advocacy arena, naloxone access (the opiate overdose reversal drug), and just an awesome and fun recovery ally. It was so informative, she left us wondering what else in this world of recovery we have yet to uncover! Ginny is the founder of The Chris Atwood Foundation: an organization that has the mission "to save lives from opioid overdose, support recovery from substance use disorder, and defeat the stigma of this treatable brain disease." Check them out at https://www.chrisatwoodfoundation.org! Simply put, Ginny is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to opioid addiction! We really enjoyed having her on the show!
Lastly and most importantly, we dedicate this episode in Chris Atwood's honor. May you rest in peace, brother.

Jeremy shares intimate details of his experience with loss and his coming to believe in recovery, a day at a time! Thanks for the emails this week by Joyce (BIG SIS!), Susie, Chris H, Brando! We hope you enjoy it.
