"How in the world does a podcast review giveaway work?" A question I get asked all the time by my students and members of our community. And to be honest, I had the exact same question too. "How does it all work?"
So, I went into "Dr. Podcast" mode and started creating a scientific experiment. (I know, I get geekier by the second, but hear me out!) I wanted to see what happens when an influx of reviews comes to my show. I also wanted to share with podcasters that reviews can mean so much more than just a bump in the charts.
In today's episode, I'm breaking down my thought process behind running the giveaway, practical setup tips if you thinking this is the right move for your podcast, and sharing some of the things I've already learned.
We'll also be doing a few debrief pieces of content once our podcast review giveaway -- that we're right in the middle of -- is finished. So get out your notebooks and get ready to take some notes listening to today's episode.

"How do I grow my podcast?" It's the number one question I get asked as soon as someone launches their show.
And I get it. It's the natural next step after you launch: growing and scaling. But a lot of new podcasters are trying to grow their show before they've established a good foundation for their current audience.
In today's episode, I'm giving you 4 ways to focus on your current podcast listeners so that they will be encouraged to come back every week to listen to your content. And - with the right strategy in place - those listeners will be encouraged to share your podcast with others leading to growth and scaling. (See how that works...)
So, let's dive right into focusing on your current listeners.

Have you ever thought, "I have a specific audience I want to reach, but I'm not completely sure where to find them. I know my people are out there, but how do I reach them..."?
We're diving into this topic during our coaching call today with Haley Peel, the host of The Empowered Adventurer Podcast. We discussed a few options for Haley to market her show and business to this specific subset of adventure enthusiasts.
We also talked about podcast guesting podcasts and thinking outside the box for your content audience. Don't shy away from expanding into new areas to find the people you want to reach.
Today's episode is great for anyone wanting some new marketing ideas for their content!

In today's episode, we're talking about the dos and don'ts of writing titles for your content. I'm sharing with you the mistakes I see a lot of content creators making as well as how to add more of yourself into your content.

"Seriously though...what is content repurposing?" A question many of you have asked recently. It's not only a concept I've been obsessed with since 2020 when I decided to go all-in on my platforms. It's also the thing people ask me about the most.
Sure, people want to know how to start a podcast. Or how to get their show notes just right or their website. Or what to say for their YouTube CTAs. But most often, I'm asked, "How do you create so much content each week?"
Today's episode is for answering your content repurposing questions. From videos to podcasts to blog posts, we're covering a little bit of everything.
And if you have a question you want to be answered, head over to my PodInbox page to submit one for an upcoming episode.

"I still don't understand podcast ads." I was having a conversation with someone who's been a podcast host for a few years now and has even had some success with her show. But she was lost on how podcast ads worked.
Today's episode is a training I did all about podcast ads. It's the most in-depth training I've done to date!
I'm sharing real questions I've asked since I started my podcast and my own system and processes for creating podcast ads. I'm giving it all away in this behind-the-scenes training episode.
You'll want to take notes. Listen again. Decide on an action plan for your show. And hopefully, be inspired to promote what you're doing on your podcast.

We've talked about being a guest on other people's podcasts and what that looks like. (I have tons of references and resources to share with you about previous episodes we've already done!)
But today, I wanted to talk about my own perspective, as a podcast host, about what it's like to get a message from a guest (or someone that's representing them) and the qualifications of a "bad pitch" vs. a "good pitch".
There are lots of opinions shared in today's episode and I'm very open and honest about what irks me and what is most likely to get you a, "Yes! Let's book it. Here's my scheduling link!"
I hope this episode gives you some insight into hosting your own guests on your show and reminds you of what other hosts are looking for when you're asking to be on theirs.

Your podcast numbers have stopped growing - maybe even slumped a little bit. And you're not totally sure why. Does that sound familiar?
In today's episode, I'm giving you some insight into one of the reasons your podcast might not be growing. We're getting real in the conversation about how you can't just create amazing content and expect people to find it.
If you're not taking time to work on telling your potential podcast listeners how they can listen to your podcast and why they should, you're missing huge opportunities for growth! (I'm also bringing the tough love on why I think it's a bad idea for you to outsource this one key part of your podcast.)
You'll walk away from today's episode with a newfound motivation to pay attention to the workflow of your podcast and why you're the person that's going to make or break your show's growth over the next year.
