Last weekend I was walking the dog scrolling through podcasts to listen to and I found one of my own downloaded on my phone.
I don't listen to my own podcast but there was a reason I had saved this one....
In July 2021 I recorded a podcast with my then 10-year-old son. I asked him what I do and why what I do is important.
I listened back to this episode whilst walking Henry and I was amazed at it. I didn't prep Charlie for this podcast - I told him I was going to ask him some questions about what I do and what I am like as a Mum and just told him to be honest.
The content of this episode is really powerful - giving you a potential insight into how our kids see us as Mums and how they want us to be and show up for them.
SInce listening to this at the weekend it reminded me of some of the things I need to do for myself so that I can be better for him and so I thought it would be a good idea to share the podcast again.
