Team Super Dad Guest John Campbell:
John Campbell is in his 70's. He is a Dad, a Grandad, and joyously married to his second wife. His life story is a roller coaster. Having visited over 90 countries, captained huge ships, been a Director of Brighton & Hove Albion FC and wrestled with alcholism there is not much he hasn't got a story or experience of. Now joyously married to his second wife, John is loving his new life as an NLP coach and hypnotherapist, specialising in the area of parenting, sex and relationships.

In the first half of our conversation we discuss Dan's breakup and fighting to see his children as much as he wanted to. In the second half we talk about how he has created his property portfolio and created his multiple business interests. Not to mention living in Spain and finding love again.
Dan had a tough breakup with his former wife and has some tough experiences to share about fighting to see his children. Rather than crumbling under the pressure of that experience though Dan managed to grow his business, find and fall in love with his now wife and start a new life in Spain. All whilst maintaining his role as Dad to his daughters.
There is some pain in his story but we - as he has - can learn from that. More than anything Dan is an inspiration to other Dads. At just a year older than me he has certainly set a benchmark around money, fun and impact in the world that I am aiming towards.

I've had a curious attitude towards anxiety. "Surely people can just calm down and get on with it?" I've thought. As like depression though, it is not exactly that simple and as I find out in this conversation with Marina, there is a physical reason why it is not always possible.
If you have ever seen the Bob Newhart video "Stop It" then you may be somewhere in between those two ideas. After a couple of conversations though recently with people who have anxiety I had to reflect on my understanding of it and my ability to help others.
Also in this episode Marina shares experiences of being a single parent from a Mothers perspective. Interestingly in her new marriage, she has trouble getting her children's father to see them, whilst her husband Barry has previously had trouble gaining access to his children.
This is a fascinating, warm and entertaining conversation with a wonderful mother and empowering friend.
