My top tips to make your Maternity leave magical.
This week on the podcast I share my tips to start enjoying maternity. I know having a new baby is a lot but it can also be so much fun, I loved my first Matrenity leave. Second time round not so much because I couldn't t do any of these things as it was lockdown.
You dont have to be on maternity to get value from this episode if you are really struggling and not getting any time to yourself I share how I still made time for me, my friends, family, my relationships and even studying because I new as soon as I became a Mum I needed to leave my job and start working for myself.
I would like to caveat I had a very easy baby and all babies are different, but if you do have a baby who cries a lot or doesnt sleep you dont just have to suffer alone and accept that's how motherhood feels.
When we feel calmer and happier our children get to feel that and anything you can do to make life feel less overwhelming will only benefit them.
