
Candle Meditation

Not surprisingly, you will need a candle for this meditation. I feel I must say that you should be very careful where you place your candle - away from curtains, furnishings or indeed anything else combustable!
Meditating on a single point, especially a flame is very soothing for the eyes and for the brain since it give the mind something to entertain it! Your mind will, of course, have some thoughts but you let them float past you and bring your focus back to the candle. Like any meditation, it is a practice, and the more you do it the easier it will become to find the quietness of mind that we are striving for.
I love using the fire element to feed my energy and to dump out any negative energy that is around you. If you find yourself in the company of negative energy then this is a beautiful way to offload it. The flame is happy to take it and transmute it to something more useful for the Universe!

Today's mediation will help you quieten the busy brain and connect with the truth - your truth - to help you make the decision. We need clarity and insight to make a difficult decision so we will connect with the Crown Chakra and the Third Eye Chakra so that we take the right path.
I often find that making the decision, one way or another - toss a coin even - and then imagining how that feels will help you to come to the right decision for you. In this mediation we are taking this to the next level by connecting with our spirit to make the decision for us and then connecting to our intuition to feel into how this feels. Trusting yourself to have the knowledge within you is the trick!
Remember - you have everything you need already within you! It's just a matter of finding it!
