The Egg Whisperer on Fertility Empowerment
12/16/20 • 32 min
In this fertility episode, I chat with Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and host of the Egg Whisperer Show, Dr. Aimee has heard story after story from women and couples from all over the world about their struggles in trying to conceive. In her attempt to prevent more of these heartbreaking stories, she has gone on a mission to promote “fertility awareness”. Her hope is to empower women, making them more aware of their personal fertility levels and allowing them to be better educated about their options. Never again does she want to hear “If I had known 10 years ago that my egg reserves were running low, I would have done things differently”.
In 2014, she launched her mission by hosting “Egg Freezing Parties”. These parties offer women a chance to learn more about their fertility and ask their questions in a comfortable, safe environment with like-minded women.
Dr. Aimee is a native of the Bay Area, and a graduate of UCLA School of Medicine. After completing her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, she completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at University of Michigan. She also completed a Masters in Public Health in Health Management and Policy at University of Michigan. Her practice is located in San Ramon, California.
In this episode, Dr. Aimee will also discuss:
- The Egg Whisperer Fertility Awareness Panel
- Her methods: TUSHY, BALLS, TEAM and DIET
- Her Fertility Awareness class

Women's Mental Health with LuvLuk founder, Linda Kim
In this wellness and fertility episode, I am joined by a fellow University of Chicago alum and friend, Dr. Linda Kim, who is the founder and CEO of LuvLuk. Linda is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist with many years of clinical and leadership experience. She became passionate about how to offer mental health care tailored to address the unique challenges that women need support with – finding emotional wellness, taking care of their families, struggling with infertility or perinatal issues, engaging their passions, and achieving their professional goals, all at the same time! As a mother of 3 daughters, she shared many of the same challenges that her patients faced and wants to share her learnings, both personal and professional to others via the services offered by her company. LuvLuk offers telepsychiatry and virtual therapy for the modern woman and strives to be seamlessly incorporated into her life.
Specifically, in this episode we discuss: – The difference and intersection of therapy and coaching – How Linda empowers and arms her female patients with the knowledge to care for their emotional well-being – The Luv-Luk Method for Infertility

Bonus: New Year Setting Intention Meditation
In another bonus episode, I give you, my wonderful listeners, another guided meditation this time with the aim of helping you set your intention for the new year (or you can use it as a daily intention meditation, too!) In the first ten minutes of this episode, we will discuss the reason you should ditch making a new year's resolution and instead set an intention. I'll go over the differences and then talk a bit about what to do with thoughts that happen while you meditate. The second half of the episode is a 16 minute meditation where you will reflect and brainstorm your intention and use it as your mantra.
