Recovered emotional and binge eater Sami Snow offers her experience in overcoming the powerful voice in her head to go eat some more. Her weight loss journey unknowingly turned into a self love journey and setting standards for the way she lives her life. Healing her relationship with food and progressing her fitness goals in the gym have increased her self confidence, as she started doing the things she said she would do. Showing up for herself and keeping her commitments allows her to become the woman she's always wanted to be. What she didn't realize on all the other weight loss journeys, is that you have to change your mindset-and the habits you create are ones you'll want to enjoy as you're creating them for the sustainable future. Leaving behind the bloating, bingeing, shame, guilt, and sickness she felt in her own body; she is now enjoying the body she is in while expressing gratitude for all that her body allows her to do for herself. Since she has discovered how GOOD she can feel in her own skin, she wants to empower other women to do the same.

Hi there! My name is Sami Snow, and I am a recovered binge eater. What I’m sharing with you in this program is exactly what helped me overcome binge eating for GOOD! Now, here’s the deal—I’m also a registered nurse who happens to geek out over science you'll hear big words like neuroplasticity, but don’t worry, I promise to break it all down in a way that makes sense. You’ll not only understand concepts like neuroplasticity, but you might even find yourself laughing along the way. Recovery doesn’t have to be all serious business—it can be fun, empowering, and even a little nerdy!

Before we dive into strategies and tools, it’s essential to understand the principles that will guide your recovery journey. This module will help you set the stage for sustainable change by shifting your perspective and simplifying the process ahead.
Understanding the Root of Binge Eating
Here’s the deal: binge eating isn’t a reflection of your character, self-worth, or emotional resilience. Nope! It’s a sneaky habit—a behavior wired into your brain through learned pathways. Think of it like your brain playing an old, annoying mixtape on repeat. The good news? You can hit the stop button and record a brand-new playlist! These binge urges come from the autopilot part of your brain—and they definitely do not represent your true self. When you recognize this, you can start to separate who you really are (amazing, by the way) from those pesky binge urges.
Why You Binge and How Recovery Works
Here’s where we dig in and unravel the mystery. In this program, we’ll explore:

You can become more intentional when eating by dismissing your distractions. No wonder you can't get in touch with your fullness cues, you're distracted! When you have built a balanced plate of food in front of you, Sami encourages you to appreciate the food in front of you and think of how you want to FEEL after eating this plate of food. Sami encourages you to engage your senses, taking note of the aroma, textures, and flavors with each and every bite. Sami wants to encourage you to put your fork down every couple bites, to allow your fullness cues in your brain to catch up to the fullness in your stomach.

You will not be able to eat your emotions away; in fact, after an emotional eating episode you tend to feel worse by experiencing intense shame and guilt.
This is the way that I lived most of my life. I wish for you to experience the food freedom that I have achieved in the last year. It’s magical!
Imagine seeing a table of all of your favorite foods, and instead of being scared to eat them, you can TRUST yourself around the foods. You are a woman who practices mantra's ("I am an intuitive eater who respects my body"), who eats intentionally, and who respects her body by honoring her fullness cues.
