Dr. Imran S. Khawaja is a board-certified psychiatrist and a sleep medicine specialist, who is considered a national leader in sleep and mental health.
He is currently a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma. He has been academic medicine and held academic appointments at various institutions, including the University of North Dakota, University of Minnesota, Baylor College of Medicine, and other universities.
Dr. Khawaja has been a course director of a full day course on sleep medicine for psychiatrists at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for five years and has given many talks to audiences from all backgrounds. He has published more than 100 articles, including peer-reviewed articles, review articles, editorials, and book chapters. He has published several books on the topics of sleep, psychiatry, and self-help.
