Vanessa's Story - Running in Triangles

Postpartum Perspectives

Vanessa Rapisarda is a mother of three and the founder of Running in Triangles, a blog dedicated to helping women with postpartum depression. She runs the blog from Manitoba, Canada along with her sister, Jess.
They have also created the Postpartum Depression Survival Guide - an email list for mothers with postpartum depression. It gives you access to a free resource library with printable workbooks, a list of crisis numbers, exclusive discounts, and more. Their dedication to ending the stigma surrounding perinatal mood disorders is definitely inspiring, and I highly recommend their website as a comprehensive resource.

BONUS: Alison's Story - From Needing Help to Helping Others (Part 2)

Alison Stead is a counselor, spiritual development mentor, and writer. She experienced postpartum depression, or as they say in her native UK, postnatal depression or postnatal illness, with all three of her births. Due to those experiences, Alison went on to become an advocate and supporter of moms who find motherhood a challenge.
If you haven't heard the first part of Alison's story, go back and listen to the episode on her personal experiences with postpartum depression (Part 1). This second section picks up where the last one left off, as we focused our conversation on her experience organizing a volunteer program to help new parents in her community.
