OhHello - a show about non BS career mentorship and expert advice

OhHello!!!
It's episode 59 and this "Hello" (featured Mentor on OhHello.io) is notoriously known around the hashtag#marketing hashtag#advertising hashtag#career circles as the "Pay It Forward" guy.
Well, today's the day we give Marc Goldberg some attention and back-pats for doing all he does!
This hashtag#payitforward powerhouse runs Stages Collective, and he is the ultimate mensch that you've likely seen in your LI feeds. He's the kind of pro you want to learn from - so after this episode, go book time with him on OhHello.io!
During this vod, Marc Goldberg walks us through his approach. As the go-to guy for connecting people, and fostering opportunities, his "pay it forward" mantra has transformed lives in the professional realm.
He's been a mentor to accelerator programs like 500 Startups + Techstars, has coached, and proudly connected people throughout his career. From the early days of being a media buyer to running global teams and eventually being a CEO, his words of wisdom are simple: just be a good person!
Professional mentors like Liz Fox + Ron McCoy played pivotal roles in shaping Marc early on, and there are so many other mentors and colleagues Marc wants to tag, including the influence of his parents/step-parents (whom are retired law professors and Evanston, IL socialites), in shaping his worldviews.
Beyond business, this OhHello.io πŸŒžβ˜•οΈ mentor actively contributes to the community. Organizing events like the Glen Rock Fourth of July parade and supporting causes like Breastcancer.org reflect his commitment to giving back.
Parting Words of Wisdom:
Marc shares a gem from one of his mentors: "Do what you're supposed to be doing while you're supposed to be doing it. Have fun." His advice resonates with finding joy in your career.
πŸ™Œ Thank you, Marc Goldberg, for the enriching conversation!

OhHello - Jeremy Bloom

It's episode 58 - this was unplanned, never rehearsed, and just felt right!
Guess what?! Launching a new tech venture isn't easy. Who knew?! 🀣
About 49 minutes ago (at 1pm CT), I decided to go off the cuff, talk into my camera, record OhHello.io πŸŒžβ˜•οΈ's 1st solo vod/pod (unedited), and had a cathartic "OhHello session" showcasing vulnerability & humility about building a platform from scratch.
things I didn't talk about...
πŸš€ v2.0 of OhHello.io is going to launch VERY soon - within a week from this post - w/ many more amazing mentors, easier access to booking, charities integrated and showcased in our platform, a more fluid 1:1 video experience
πŸ™ how grateful I am for the continued support from old colleagues, new friends, and the creative opportunities that are organically popping-up
πŸ‘• putting yourself in uncomfortable positions (e.g. acting fast and deciding to record this based on gut) will inevitably make you stronger (despite wearing a wrinkled shirt)
Should I do this again? Kindly let me know if it was helpful in any way. πŸ˜… (at the very least, here's clickbait of my beautiful daughter)
Have a question, burning thought, or idea...mention it in the comments or shoot me a note: [email protected]

OhHello - Scott Hess (Part 1)

OhHello!! It's episode 60!
Big thanks to Scott Hess for recording this 3-parter a wee bit ago. I had been saving these gems for when both the OhHello.io platform and OhHello.io πŸŒžβ˜•οΈ community were a bit more mature.
Today is the day.
Part 1 of a 3-part series...
As the hashtag#chiefmarketingofficer hashtag#cmo of Publicis Media, Scott opens up as an advertising executive who reflects on his journey and offers advice for young professionals.
πŸ”₯ Scott emphasizes the importance of perseverance and faith in finding your path, even if it's not linear or rational.
πŸ”₯ He encourages trusting your gut and showing up as your authentic self, rather than trying to fit into someone else's mold.
πŸ”₯ He draws on his own experiences to illustrate how embracing his true self led to professional success and joy.
πŸ”₯He continuously acknowledges the value of mentorship and the importance of being patient with yourself as you navigate your career.
Overall:
This conversation is a heartwarming and insightful reflection on life, career, and finding your place in the world. Scott Hess's honest and relatable approach offers valuable lessons for people of all ages who are searching for their own unique path.
