Decluttering with Emotional Awareness: Embrace the Story Behind Each Object"- with Melanie Shenberger, Decluttering Coach.
Every object in our environment carries a story as to how you got it, why you keep it, and what it means. Some would label them as clutter or unnecessary or whatever, but you keep them because they make you happy.
When it comes to decluttering, many of us feel overwhelmed by the idea of having to throw away items that we may have collected over time. However, as a decluttering coach, I believe there is a much more meaningful approach to dealing with our physical environment – the key is to look at each object in our space and be present with the emotions that come with it. Every item holds a story behind it – from how it was initially acquired to why we still keep it and what purpose it serves in our lives.
When looking at our possessions through this lens, can help us identify which objects hold true value and should stay in our lives while letting go of things that no longer serve their purpose. This allows us to slowly create an environment that is clear and uncluttered, but still full of items that evoke positive sentiments or emotions within us.

Who am I?
What is my role?
What is my job?
What is my responsibility?
Where did you feel really alive and creative and happy and connected, and how can you invite more of that?
Karen Sullivan, Creativity Coach and Facilitator is on the show today. Karen shares with us how to unlock your creative potential by exploring your creative mind. Karen believes that everyone has the capacity to be creative, and encourages people to focus on what they want in life rather than what they want to get rid of. She suggests taking small steps such as devoting five minutes a day to surprise yourself with something new or slightly outside your comfort zone. Ultimately, Karen emphasizes that you are in control of your own life and have the power to choose how it looks. Taking the time to focus on creativity can help you live a more fulfilling life and make choices that are right for you.
