QUOTES
”It's one thing to just create a bunch of ideas for content, throw it on the calendar, then repurpose each piece and mix it all up and throw it on the calendar again. That'll be good for
visibility and showing up in all the places. But our goal is to convert to a sale.” - Amanda Kolbye
“ Make sure you also look at your business in stages. Set up the organization and storage piece ASAP, no matter what. But don't bite off more than you can chew. Be impactful, effective, and make sure you go deep within your content and your established brand presence before going wide.” - Amanda Kolbye

Mini Moments Ep 49: Follow The Fear With Natanya Bravo
Made for More with Amanda Kolbye
11/23/22 • 6 min
In these "Mini Moments" we pull some of my favorite and most impactful mini lessons from past episodes of the Made for More Podcast to give you a quick digestible lesson in under 10 minutes. If you liked this mini moment, check out the rest of this full episode here - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-use-fear-as-the-driving-force-to-realizing/id1529443551?i=1000527085386
Summary There are two big things that hold people back from getting what they want: priorities and assessment/fear of risk. We often tell ourselves we really want something but our actions say otherwise in that we are likely not truly prioritizing the actions needed to change. So they hard question becomes not just "how bad do you really want this?" but "how bad do you really want this in regards to what you will have to trade or sacrifice to prioritize and achieve that thing?" Lastly, we provide a new way to think about risk, because most people only think about risk from one side.
Our Favorite Quotes
"I think a lot of us get stuck at wanting to see the top of the staircase, before we've ever taken the first or second step."
"That bold, messy, uncomfottable action is going to help you get the data and data is really the way you're going to be able to make those decisions one at a time without trying to make ten decisions and map out your whole 5 year plan at one time."

095. Own Your Version of Success
Made for More with Amanda Kolbye
07/25/22 • 29 min
I never really fit the mold of a " 7- figure business owner" or "successful coach." So since starting my business, I've gone through some massive identity crises. I think this very much comes with being an entrepreneur over time. You're evolving, changing, and growing.
This episode is about making more interesting millionaires and challenging your vision of success in the way that you are attempting to portray it.
In this episode, we cover…
- Owning and accepting your truth
- How to embody your own version of success
- Classic Millionaire statuses
- A different viewpoint of what success is
- How are you showing up to perform?
"So we say the right things, but behind closed doors, and maybe even subconsciously, we're not accepting and internalizing and owning the fuck out of this different version of success. We still want to fit in in some way. And that can cause a lot of inner turmoil that sometimes we recognize is going on, and sometimes we don't even realize consciously."
"A lot of entrepreneurs are chasing after authority market markers chasing after the money or chasing after more of the illusion of success and feeling success for yourself every day we are performing, and thus that is why many people are still not happy because you're not accepting and owning your truth,"
"Money only amplifies what already exists."

096. Emotional Intelligence to Destroy Negative Thought Patterns with Topsie Vandenbosch
Made for More with Amanda Kolbye

Our guest expert Topsie VandenBosch is a mindset and emotional intelligence expert. She will be talking with you today about her different opinions and experiences on these matters.
Topsie is not only a mindset and emotional intelligence coach but also a clinical therapist and has her master's in social work. She's on a mission to help high achieving six and seven-figure entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as corporate executives, destroy their negative thought patterns and behaviors using emotional intelligence and mindset strategy so that they can live happier, healthier, successful lives.
In this episode, we cover…
- Identifying the blocks that contribute to a turmoil perspective
- Managing emotions at hard times
- How to refocus yourself
- What pressures are you holding yourself to that you get to release?
- Separating yourself from your business
- Rapid Fire Questions
"The whole Oh, I scaled, and I hit my first, you know, $200,000 month, that's fucking incredible. I want to be very clear. What I think is incredible is how you beat yourself up. When you feel like you're not hitting that each month, but it's looking at what you have to do to hit 200,000? What did you have to do? And do you want to keep doing that? And if so, why?"
"So I think it's about allowing it to get quiet. I believe that so many of us struggle with the quiet. We're constantly scrolling because what would happen if I just allowed my thoughts to wander? Where would they go? What would I think about, and what would I worry about? Right? So a lot of entrepreneurs are worriers. And so it's beneficial to have an online business because you get to distract yourself from the truth."

88. If I Had to Start Over, This Is What I Would Do
Made for More with Amanda Kolbye
05/03/22 • 41 min
Once you've reached a particular phase in your business, the common question is, "If you had to start over, what would you do?"
I've been thinking lately about what I would do differently if I were to start my business again or If I was a student going through my LLB program. In this episode, I'm going to go down the list of all the different things that I kind of thought of what I would do differently, what I would do the same, then some things that are not necessarily bad or good that I did, but I think would need to be addressed differently.
In this episode, we cover...
- Building a business while having a 9-5, why I don't regret quitting my job and moving to Thailand
- Mastering your skills
- Building an audience, showing up & networking
- My opinion on starting a passive income
- The importance of niching down
- Mindset and clarity and defining your vision
"My number one focus would be building an audience. You can sit behind the scenes all day and perfect all of these things; you need to build foundations to scale the business, but I'm talking about, this is my day one that I'm talking to you about starting over on, and I would start building an audience."
"When many people hear my business story, they hear about my coaching business, and we grew, you know, to a million in two years and all this crazy stuff. We grew so fast. And then, when I talk about my design business, I was booked out in my first week of launching and made over 5k in my first month and continued to scale from there. It's all these sexy stories. But one of the bottom parts of the iceberg to those stories is that I had built a personal brand since the spring of 2008 very intentionally on Instagram."
"I had built a personal brand, where I showed up every day for an entire year before making a single dollar. Now that's because I wasn't trying to sell anything before. But it's also a huge reason I could sell things so fast because people knew and trusted me."
