Lisa shares her childhood and adulthood experiences of losing pets in very different circumstances. She also talks about what’s it like to have a conversation with children about losing a pet. There’s lots of great tips in this show.

Lisa has always loved animals and set up Cheeky Little Prints in April 2009 after training as a veterinary nurse. She is a mum to two boys and feels passionate about helping people to capture the family pet’s unique paw print. In 2019, she was featured on local radio as part of a national campaign to bring awareness of pet loss to employers.

For Mel, loss is about 2 things – food and her body. She describes how her relationship with food began when her dad, who she idolised, walked out. What followed, was the feeling that she has lost control and it’s really interesting to hear how this manifested for Mel and her take on food relationships now.

This episode is also packed with the usual insights and tips which follows the themes of; how we can grieve for our bodies, and the relationships we develop with food.

Originally born in New Zealand, and now living in Wales – UK, Maxine graduated with an MSc in Forensic Psychology, and holds post-graduate diplomas in a raft of complementary therapies. She has previously worked with the police, in the prison service and with the NHS.

Maxine now works in private practice, primarily with clients all across the world with long-standing sleep problems, and whose insomnia is having a negative impact on their health, relationships and working lives.
