Sustainable Success: The Importance of Energy Management
How much energy does it take to run a business?
I think we all know that there’s a lot that goes into building, running, and growing a business while you’re also trying to maintain your health, relationships, and personal life. What are you doing to make sure that you have enough energy for all that? The truth is that it’s up to you to create and protect your energy; no one can do it for you.
In this episode we’re talking about building your energetic stamina for whatever’s next. Maybe it’s getting up and going to pilates even when you don’t want to like me. Maybe it’s drinking more water or getting more sleep. Whatever it is, it has to be what fills your tank, not anyone else’s.
Topics covered in this episode include:
- Doing what creates energy for you
- Starting new goals at any time of the year
- Creating habits that work for you
Tune in for a casual chat with me about energy management and what I do to set myself up for sustainable success.

Beyond the Pressure: Overcoming the Need to Prove Yourself as a Business Owner
What do you do when you realize that a lot of your identity throughout your life has been rooted in trying to prove something to somebody?
How do you find a new fuel source when you’re no longer fueled by the need to prove yourself?
These are the kinds of questions that have been playing on my mind lately, and I want to share some of my thoughts with you. We’re getting personal in this episode as we talk about why we seek external validation, how to move on from the need to prove ourselves, and what to replace that need with.
Topics covered in this episode include:
The exhaustion that comes from constantly trying to prove yourself
How to be content with where you are while satisfying the desire to grow
Practical ways to stop seeking external validation
If you’re wrestling with this, know that I’m right there with you. If you want to join me as I stop trying to move myself to others, tune in to this episode.
