These quotes talk about a few concepts: where significance comes from, the impact that we have on others, even when we aren't necessarily thinking about it, and the power and importance of caring for others.

Each of these quotes talks about the importance of focusing on significance each day. The Norris quote has a unique approach to the concept, while the Maxwell quote is exactly what you would expect from Maxwell—something that is spot-on if we want to bring value to others..

Qualities of a Life of Significance

My apologies to those of you who are regular listeners of the podcast on Mondays. I had a few glitches this past weekend in preparation for some different trips, and I was so consumed with those that I never recorded my podcast episode!
So, it comes out a day-and-a-half later than usual. While that is probably not a very big deal to most of you, it bothers me because I had never missed or been late in releasing an episode of the podcast in the first 176 episodes.
Oh well, instead of beating myself up over it, I need to focus on the positive that A) I had gone 176 weeks in a row without ever missing or being late with it, and B) that means I have recorded 177 podcast episodes. When I started doing the podcast, I had hoped to hit some of those kinds of milestones like 50, 100, and so forth. Well, my gosh, 177 episodes is no small accomplishment, so I need to embrace it and enjoy it!
Anyway, today I have one quote for you from a very unlikely source. It is a good quote that gets at the heart of what it takes to live a life of significance.
