In today's world, everyone is giving away a free something in order to collect our email address and contact details. Sadly many people might opt in but never actually view or take action on what they opt-in for so they can never get the result it promised = no trust built.
This means that the freemium and lead magnet has somewhat become white noise. You are either filling your list with freebie hunters who are just chasing free as they don't want to invest in anything or with people who mean to read/watch the product they opted in for but as it is free they never seem to get to it.
Instead, we will look at how building a list of qualified buyers even if only those that have bought a low ticket thing can give you a smaller list but full of clients that are more likely to pull out their credit card for other things. By turning your lead magnet into a low ticket offer you are also helping to liquidate ad costs (self-liquidating offer) and giving yourself the opportunity to grow your revenue with a variety of incomes streams.
It is easier to convert action taking person who has already bought into buying something else especially if they got huge value from the other things they bought. The trick is to make the low ticket offer so valuable in giving the result that it promises that they are excited to move to your next thing. They become your raving fan.
