Hallelujah, holy shit! Hear that sleigh, Santa's on his way, hip hip hooray its Doom Generation! Clark W. Griswold (Chevy Chase) a family man, is determined to have a good old fashioned family Christmas, not only with the immediate fam, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), Audrey 3 (Juliette Lewis) and Rusty 3 (Johnny Galecki), but the old folks as well (Diane Ladd, Doris Roberts, John Randolph, E.G. Marshall, Mae Questel, William Hickey). In true Griswold fashion, things don't go as planned when cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) shows up sans gifts and all the audacity, the lights won't light but the tree will, a subscription to the jelly of the month club, and everyone is assaulted by a SQUIRRRRREEELLLLLL! Why is the carpet wet Todd (Nicholas Guest)? I don't KNOW Margo (Julie Louis-Dreyfus)! It's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - this time, Merry Xmas from Doom Generation!

We had a little drink about an hour ago and it went straight to our heads, so tell 'em we went fishin. Chief Brody (Roy Scheider) has a problem on the shores of Amity and the snappy dressing Mayor (Murray Hamilton) has a blatant disregard for public safety. City boy Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) joins Brody and hard sharkin' Quint (Robert Shaw) aboard the decrepit Orca to hunt the killer shark Jaws (Bruce). The beaches stay open, this time on Doom Generation.

Doom Generation - Edward Scissorhands (1990): "Avon calling!"
play

12/03/22 • 77 min

Once upon a time there was this movie we all kinda liked - it was about a boy with scissors for hands. Hands? Scissors? NO stupid, scissor hands!

It's the tale of an inventor (Vincent Price) who only makes three things: cookies, companions out of machinery, and the good decision to dip early by dropping dead at the very beginning. Many years pass before before struggling Avon lady, Peg (Dianne Wiest) decides to do a lil' B&E on the spooky mansion on top of the hill at the end of the cul-de-sac where she meets Edward Scissorhands (Johnny Depp) and makes the fateful decision to take him home with her. In suburbia, he finds it difficult to fit in, but that is probably because everyone that lives here is awful; none more so than local THOT Joyce (Kathy Baker) who will stop at nothing to get scissored in the back of a salon. Unfortunately for her, Ed has his big sad eyes turned to Peg's trash daughter Kim (Winona Ryder) who, along with her meat head boyfriend Jim (Anthony Michael Hall) break his little incel heart and drive him right back up the hill to a lifetime of seclusion and longing. This movie sucks y'all - Edward Scissorhands, this time on Doom Generation.

We fail to heed Dr. P. Theodore Warning, Esquire and head back to Australia this week. Hexxus (Tim Curry) is loose, thanks to human destruction aided by young Zak Young (Jonathan Ward). Crysta (Samantha Mathis) and Pips (Christian Slater) have to stop them with the help of the Beetle Boys (Cheech and Chong) and Batty Koda (Robin Williams). Honestly what more can I say other then! "FRENCH CUT!!!" hahah! okay maybe I need to say more for those interested in this show. Nicole and Tessa are absolutely wonderful people there dynamic together is fully always catches me off guard and has me spitting my drink out and almost choking to death! they deserve to be bigger and more successful than they are, but also I don't want them to as I feel like there are a hidden gem for only true indie movie podcast fans to listen to! but if you want laughs a minute, movie reviews and breakdowns then you are in the perfect place! these women are amazing and you'll love them! I recommend that you start with there Review of The Batman (1989) it's my personal favourite!

What's not to love about this show. The impeccable chemistry between the two hosts is infectious and the way they break down plots can bring you to tears from laughing. This is a must listen every week.

Nicole and Tessa…two new favorites for me. They chat about so much of my childhood that helped to warp my fragile little mind. T2, Scream, Neverending Story…I still need therapy for the horse scene. Download some episodes and enjoy some Doom Generation. A+
