The 6 Pillars of High Performance
02/16/22 • 53 min
In this episode I recorded a webinar called The 6 Pillars of High Performance. I outline the three things holding people back, what I learned from studying the world’s most successful and happiest people, and what they do differently than everyone else. I share with you the 6 pillars of high performance and if you focus on these areas, you will achieve your next breakthrough.

Be a Mindful Tactical Athlete with James Deirmendjian
In this episode I have a great conversation with James Deirmendjian. We talk about the importance of mindfulness, components of being a tactical athlete and the importance of taking care of your mind and body.
James Deirmendjian, M.A., is a fitness coach who works online, with a focus on providing for the physical, sports performance and mental health needs of his clientele. Co-host of the Dahma and Maja Podcast. An amateur strength sports athlete, BJJ fighter, and avid outdoorsman, his lifelong passion for and involvement with protective services and the martial arts has led him to cater his service to tactical, combat and contact sport athletes. These primarily include soldiers, marines, law enforcement officers, as well as BJJ and MMA fighters. His current and most prominent area of professional interest lies in questions of how to best leverage physical and mental exercise, as well as different forms of social and self-expression, as methods of cultivating resilience in the face of psychological trauma. His eclectic breadth and depth of education, life and work experience has provided him with a unique perspective on what constitutes effective coaching.
