Show Summary
I initially interviewed Larry last September 24, when he shared how he had received "the gift"... of cancer! So almost 3 months later, where do things stand? Two months to the day after the original podcast episode went live, Larry was declared cancer free. A more conscious Larry is now controlling the things he can to mitigate its return! Benefitting from a treasure trove of all that was learned is just a click away!
Key Topics:
- Discover the most meaningful lesson this experience taught Larry!
- What can everyone control to diminish the prospects of contracting cancer and if they do, to limit its severity!
- Larry's 11 points for how to live well in the last 3rd of one's life!

- Larry's 11 key points for living the last third of your life victoriously:
1. Realize that the best way to grow older is to grow younger, by
practicing holistic rejuvenation – of the body, mind, emotions and
spirit.
2. Review your life to acknowledge, understand and appreciate the
treasure trove of lessons learned and wisdom accumulated in your
life, which has value to your aware peers and seekers younger than you.
3. Know as you age how to heal your past, grow your present, and share
with the world.
4. Find your passion/purpose, create a life mission, and intend to leave a
legacy.
5. Commit to awakening to a new life paradigm, becoming more aware,
and feeling more alive.
6. Live within or close to Nature, which de-stresses and recharges your
essential human nature.
7. Live in a nurturing community with creative and conscious people
from whom you can learn new things and develop new ideas.
8. Think of your life as being in show business – you got to show up and
show your self.
9. Expand your consciousness through spiritual beliefs and practices to
fill your life with love, joy and peace, and infuse meaning and vigor into
your life’s physical, mental and emotional dimensions.
10. Affirm that it is never too late to reimagine, reinvent and revitalize
your life to realize your dreams, big or small, one or many.
11. Believe that whatever your age the best is yet to come – if you
creatively endeavor to make it so.

A Bigger Sky - Awakening a Fierce Feminine Buddhism, Featuring Author Pamela Weiss
Show Summary
In my book titled "I'm Every Woman", I wrote how every one of the world's major religions, without exception, have a few things in common, most notably, a doctrine of misogyny. Never mind what they say on the topic of inclusion and equality...it's what they do!
Key Topics:
- Pamela is the first and only layperson to receive full dharma transmission in the Suzuki Soto Zen lineage! What is that and what's involved in receiving such a lofty distinction and honor?
- Ms. Weiss is a Jewish woman with the horror of the holocaust forged indelibly into her heart! One night when between sleep and awakeness, a Jewish woman who was about to die in the gas chambers, came to her and said, "we did not want to die." She had a profound message for Pamela that may resonate with you also.
- A Bigger Sky was written so that the stories and voices of women might be heard instead of them being an addendum to the utterings of men!

It's Time For a Tectonic Shift, Not of the Earth...But of Our Heart!
Show Summary
My Holiday Gift To My Treasured Listeners:
Since I began in 2012, writing and publishing books, a blog and of course, the launching of my podcast, Discovering and Living the Best Version...of YOU, no theme has been more timely and necessary to address than the three "tasters" I alluded to in this week's episode. The band-aid solutions to life's most prominent challenges, along with mankind's best thinking have shown themselves to be lacking at best, impotent at the worst! It's time for us to release all that has built up over time and deprives us of becoming the best version of ourselves!
Key Topics:
- Your most impactful and life-changing days are ahead of us, regardless of age, net worth or status. It all depends on your thinking!
- Living life as a rugged individualist will never result in reaching your highest and best. TEAM is the answer!
- The notion that the Universe is a competitive with real barriers to entry is a lie!
