Creating Wellness From Within

Creating Wellness From Within is a podcast devoted to empowering you to live your best life by taking accountability for your own personal wellness ... brought to you in part by Integrated Health Systems located in Denver, CO.

Women in particular have a tendency to take care of everyone else around them first, while putting their own self care and wellness on the back burner. This podcast is designed to give you actionable advice and tools to help you power up your own wellness journey, and live the best life possible!

I am your host, Amy Zellmer. I am editor-in-chief of MN YOGA + Life magazine and author of The Chair Yoga Pocket Guide. Additionally I am passionate about yoga, photography, wellness, and all things glittery! You can find out more about me at www.creatingwellnessfromwithin.com

Today's guest is: Gracie Lynn
Gracie Lynne was not a born writer; she was a writer born out of adversity.
Although she had two degrees, she never considered writing to be a probable vocation.
Her first writing that gained notoriety was that of Christmas letters. She would write these from her children's point of view, with a flair for humor. When her children were young her marriage ended. Gracie sought comfort in her church and began writing plays for a single's ministry. That is when God put a calling on her life to become a Christian author. While continuing to work as a registered nurse, Gracie moonlighted as an aspiring author. After eighteen years of hard work, The Shattered Vase was released. This debut novel was nominated for best Christian fiction in the Christian Literary Awards and won the Firebird award. Gracie is not only an award-winning author but also a landlord, Bible study leader, volunteer, and an actress. She has raised three amazing children, as a single mother, and is now overjoyed to be a grandmother.
Gracie would like to acknowledge that without God, The Shattered Vase could have never been written. This is His story much more than it is hers. www.theshatteredvase.com
