Broken Adults Speak Sense

Send us a text

In this episode, I share my experience with a class that transformed my parenting skills. It’s called the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, and it’s available for free in a few states. According to their website, this program is backed by over 35 years of research and incorporates social learning, cognitive behavioral theories, and insights into risk factors for social and behavioral issues in children. The goal is to empower parents with the skills and confidence to handle family challenges independently.
Even if you can’t access these classes for free in your state, I highly recommend investing in them—they can truly make a difference in your parenting journey and help prevent childhood trauma. I also discuss additional free resources, and you can find all the relevant links below.

Interviewing my Adult Child: Her Journey Through Childhood Trauma and how I played a role in it.

Send us a text

In this heartfelt interview, I sit down with my adult daughter for the very first time to discuss her experiences growing up. She bravely opens up about her struggles with my mental health challenges, the impact of a selfish and angry stepfather, and the absence of her biological dad. This candid conversation marks our first "Broken Adults" interview, highlighting the importance of allowing our children to share their stories. Together, we aim to normalize these discussions, fostering healing and understanding in parent-child relationships. Join us on this journey of vulnerability and growth!
