Peters, who also went by Sax Coke, was an underground UK hip hop artist who was well known to the police.⁣

On November 14, 2019, Peters visited Islam’s flat in Newport, South Wales, and proceeded to attack him multiple times with a glass Kopparberg cider bottle.⁣

S04E07 - Lee James (The Murder of Bijan Ebrahimi)

In the seventh episode of British Murders Season 4, I tell the story of Lee James and Bijan Ebrahimi.⁣⁣⁣

Bijan arrived in the UK as a refugee from Iran in 2000 and settled in South Bristol.⁣

He received horrific abuse, both physical and verbal, from his neighbours at several different housing estates.⁣

On July 13, 2013, Bijan was kicked to death by his neighbour Lee James after incorrectly being branded as a paedophile by the other residents.⁣

Lee James was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 18 years.⁣

This case is notable for the lack of support Bijan received from both Avon & Somerset Constabulary as well as Bristol City Council.⁣

S04E09 - Peter Reeve (The Murder of PC Ian Dibell)

In the ninth episode of British Murders Season 4, I tell the story of Peter Reeve and PC Ian Dibell.⁣⁣⁣

On July 9, 2012, Reeve confronted his neighbour Trevor Marshall in Clacton-on-Sea and fired several handgun shots towards him.⁣

Trevor was hit once in the leg and survived, but the same can’t be said for heroic police officer Ian Dibell.⁣

Despite being off-duty at the time of the attack, PC Dibell attempted to disarm Reeve but was shot in the chest during the scuffle.⁣

PC Dibell died almost instantly due to suffering fatal aorta damage.⁣

Peter Reeve shot himself in the head the following morning at All Saints Church in the neighbouring village of Writtle.⁣
