Definitely, you hire a coach with a hope that they will help you realize your full potential or achieve your professional or personal goals. But sometimes your coach may do more harm to you than good. Now, as a learner, is it advisable not to just follow blindly on the things your coach asks you to do. This way, you will be in a position to tell if your coach is helpful or they’re just after your bucks. Sometimes also you have to listen to your gut feeling. I’m excited about this episode because this is absolutely what Jasmine will be talking to us about.
Jasmine Gonzalez is an IFFB Bikini Pro, and a US Marine Veteran. She is currently a Posing Coach.
In this episode, Jasmine will shed some light on inappropriate and harmful tactics a prior coach used on her and how she fired the coach. She will also share a life-changing story on how she attempted suicide three times and how she survived. In addition, she will talk about how she escaped domestic violence, as well as how she turned pro in less than a year.

Why You Are Failing At Your Reverse Diet
Reverse dieting basically means adding back calories into your calories restricted diet that was done with the objective of getting into shape for the contest. Sounds easy, right? It is however not as easy as it sounds.
Many people tend to wonder why they are the only ones messing up after every competition every single time they step offstage. But you are not alone. In fact, I have personally been through this struggle so I totally understand what it feels like.
Trying to adjust your body to accept back the calories it has been deprived over a period of time is not easy. The fact that our bodies respond differently to calories may lead us to feel like we are all alone in this process. But I already figured you need help on how to handle the dilemma, so I got you covered.
No one better placed to address this topic than The Ab Chick. Yeah, you heard me right. But just in case you’re still wondering who I am talking about, I am talking about Stephanie Sequeira. Sounds familiar? Stay tuned to find out how she got the name The Ab chick.

Being extremely passionate about fitness, nutrition, and competing, Stephanie trains both Bikini Competitors and Non-competitors to help them do what they care about. She also has an exceptional social media presence where she influences positivity.
In this episode, Stephanie talks about reverse dieting and share tips on how to achieve it. This is a topic that most athletes struggle with and therefore I encourage you to listen till the end. That's not all. She will also share her thought on being a sponsored athlete and exactly what that really means. This is an extremely important aspect especially when you've built and grown your social media following. This is because many companies will approach you as a result, hence you need to be in the know.
This episode is full of valuable content and lessons that you will take home with you. Stick around to the end for a very special gift.

Relationships Struggle While Competing
By competing, we all strive to gain victory when we step out of that stage. However, the prepping process is not always easy. It’s a difficult plight. While your attention shifts to prepping for the competition, your relationship with family and friends is at risk of going down the drain.
As a matter of fact, when you immerse yourself to competing, things are going to change. Relationships will be affected either negatively or positively depending on how well you address the foreseeable change. So, how do you strike a balance between your relationships and competing? I had the pleasure of speaking to Sonia, who’s will share how she lost relationships while competing.
Sonia Lewis is an IFBB Bikini Pro. She was the overall Bikini Winner in the 2018 Arnold Amateur where she turned pro. Dues to her outstanding performance, she has been invited to go to the Arnold in 2019. Her goal is to compete in the Olympia.
In this episode, we’ll dive deep and talk about relationships: how we've lost relationships in the past and how things change when we're deep into competition prepping. Sonia talks how she has absolutely no balance when she's in prep, as well as her love life. Additionally, she will share on how relationships with her friends and her family are just so stinking hard to manage.
I’m sure you struggle with this too. So let’s go!
Takeaways
Always stay ready so you don't have to get ready
Talk to your family and friend about what competing takes
Find a balance between competing and your relationships
Even if you have stretch marks, you can still compete
Just like it takes time to build your muscles, it takes time for your skin to tighten up
Be confident with yourself
The more shows you do, the more comfortable you get on stage
Compete with yourself, don't compete with other people
Competing definitely teaches you great practices of health
Do thorough research on your coaches, you just can’t trust everyone
